People buying albums > money for the record company > money for the band. Assholes downloading albums for free > no money for record company > no money for band > band has to stop because they cant buy studio time and makes it harder to go touring = no more good music.

For those of you who keep comparing them to Sabbath..fact is, they were greatly influenced by the music of that era. I find it refreshing that they can be free to play this style and have it widely accepted. I just saw them play in Oklahoma City a few weeks back....superb! Magnus sang while sick and still kicked ass. Fredrik drums appropriately for the style of music they play. He wouldn't be doing double bass blast beats. Duh.

If you like this band then buy their albums, you will not be disappointed. Every one of their albums sounds different and they progress nicely so not all their songs are the same. Their first record was really doomy like early sabbath and pentagram and their most recent album has more of a progressive and psychedelic feel. It is definately mind blowing. Witchcraft is the Led Zeppelin of our time except without as much fame.

There's nothing wrong with Witchcraft and Wolfmother. But when they get paraded around for sounding so "new" I feel like I'm from another planet....Do these bands not sound almost exactly the same as Sabbath etc. This is like a step Alternative Rock back towards 70s driven riff music and high screaming vocals.

Great band,the bassist and drummer are brothers and in like 3 other swedish bands.the lead guitarist john hoyles is also in a band(troubled horse)with the bassist Ola.
