Yes he is. It is hist first language. But when you work with English so much (I'm a bit in the same boat) we tend to get these momentary brain farts where the word we are looking for only comes up in another language, or start a sentence with a structure that wasn't exactly from that language and realize midway it's just not gonna work and just sound weird. Language glitches if you will.

In Quebec, we have an accent that make our french a little bit harder to understand. It's easier to understand the words when someone talks french with the accent from France.

on peut encore entendre l'accent quebecois, par exemple quand ils disent "exactement," le "ment" est different que celui du francais europeen. aussi, les francais disent "bonjour" tout la journee, mais les quebecois disent, "bonjour" seulment dans le matin, comme David a dit.
