  • Thanks I'll try this!

  • that is really sad tbh

  • its boring but helpful

  • @dragonlasersfanman Hi could I use a can of compressed air like they sell at Office Max or Staples to clean the lens on a viper laser pointer?

  • @sp3ar2envi Try to avoid cans of compressed air because they tend to be too high pressure.

  • where did you get your genuine laser

  • @ToByShMoBeR From Dragonlasers at w w w dragonlasers com

  • hi i let my mate borrow my laser pen and hes lost the lense!!!!!!! is there any way i can get hold of a new 1? dusnt help i bought it before england baned the lasers down to 5 mw ...... its a 100 mw n i paid 100 for it :-s help?

  • @pickles014 PM sent

  • this will work for blue lasers, correct?

  • @MaNGLeDSHaDoW It will work for all lasers where you can access the lens. Where lens is recessed, you need to use a different method ie trimmed qtip and lens cleaning fluid

  • LOL small one for ladys to keep in their handbag... for when your cleaning lasers on the move? wtf

  • Where did you get the professional lens cleaning equipment?

  • @TheAtomTwister The pen like cleaning tool is from a company called lenspen

  • Ladies? Lens cleaner? Laser? Naaahhhhhhhhh

  • Its the same Laser as Miner..But my is 30mw Output...its too danger for the eyes...

  • asshole. those cleaning pens work shit on lasers. asshole.

  • I suggest you talk to people who have a lot of experience with lasers before making a fool of your self with comments like this.

  • @dragonlasersfanman pwnage you killed him virtiual

  • Sehr hilfreich fuer Laserbenutzer!

  • a regular paintbrush WORKED FOR ME! i was so scared with the very bad cindition (derty crystal)of my 60 euro 50mw one.

  • did he say how to be a twat?

  • I'd say you don't need instructions on how to be a twat.

  • wow some people are rude and lasers are FREEKIN AMAZING

  • who the hell plays with lasers?

  • People of all backgrounds and ages.

Many people also use lasers for work/business.

  • @dragonlasersfanman shoulds said ME NUKKA

and was it you that did the mw rating video to explain what the ratings do?

  • @dragonlasersfanman i found the power video, sorry about that and you ever have anyt 50$ off sales let me know I was into lasers back in the day and 5mws were the shit when I played with them, few years ago I saw some of the burning laser mods and freaked out but didnt bother to do it until recently becuase the cheapest green laser I could find was a few hundred bucks. I am looking at the Aurora Series 60mW Violet Laser Pointer not really for burning anything but for a good laser but pricey

  • No problem.

Violet lasers are great for a nice beam and fluorescence but don't expect great visibility.

For visibility, you need either blue or green.

  • @dragonlasersfanman I love the blue its awesome and no offense but I would like to make my own for a fun project, as for the Violet I dont really know a lot about them just seen a few videos (same with the oranges) and thought it looked cool, may or may not be saving up for that Hulk right now.

  • @BonoLuigi thats what im saying

  • thank you so much for the info. my laser is 5mW and it looked like my dot keep dieing so i did the air one and it is loads better

  • is aurora lasers focusable?

  • No.

Focusable lasers normally have beam quality issues.

  • doushbag

  • ìts spelled douchebag

  • yeah, cuz ever woman should carry a laser pointer cleaner to clean their laser that the so just happened to love to carry around =)

  • Why are dragonlasers' lasers so expensive? 5 mW purple laser for 230$ I bought one from ebay for 8$ it was great? Any reason its expensive? and the 5 mw can pop balloons, light matches with a DVD burner lens attached at the front.

  • An $8 laser? Think of the quality of a laser where the cost of the components and labor is less than $8 and still leaves room for profit!!!

Any laser can light matches using a lens.

  • Anyone know where i can get a 5mW version of this same laser, i want a 5mW laser that i can easily clean by removing the cap

  • PM sent

  • the qtip wouldnt still work if you pressed lightly

They need to make these more offordable

  • You are right about qtips. The problem with qtips is they some times scratch the lens if you are not careful.

  • when used up can you just change the diode?

  • Not really. The diode is the most expensive part and last for a long time so you are normally better off replacing the laser.

  • just steal ur mums make up brush lol =)

  • whts the hell is that orange thing?????

  • ok ive bought one of these LensPens for 2 lasers of mine, it works perfect for them, but dont buy the Pens off LensPen's website, the shipping prices are just a joke, i bought a LensPen for £3 off Ebay with P&P free, but if i bought it from LensPen it wouldve cost me around £34, and thats a price difference.

  • is it dangrus to point it in your eyes

  • well quess...

  • do u know what is hapening if u put to much pressure on a lence? well mine is now broken cuzz of dat and i dont know how to fix it plz help me

  • i checked the site and these are really expensive lasers, but i might be willing to pay for the viper 95mW, but it lasts for 5000hrs, will this die quickly over the course of a few years?

  • The diode life time of 5000 hours means with normal use, the Viper will normally last for at least 4-5 years.

  • Comment removed

  • i mean 95mW

  • Comment removed

  • where can i buy one of these cleaners?

  • From lenspen

  • are you using rechargable batteries? litium?

  • Using rechargeables NiMH

  • what would happen if u used the pointer without the lense cover?

  • Nothing. The lens cover is just to protect the lens inside so it does not effect laser performance.

  • brush it but not use a q tip....not so sure

  • take the Hulk and you don't have problems with lens cleaning !

  • would the actual laser beam get the dust of the lens

  • No. A laser beam can physically move an object such as a Crookes Radiometer but not dust on a lens.

  • do you have a 95MW? in that case does it require any special batteries?

  • Dragonlasers has the Viper 95mW that uses AAA batteries

  • sku.2217

  • i didnt no the lens wer so fragile

  • that was an excellent demonstration realy good keep it up =D

  • asshole beserk more like

  • would a regular soft tip paintbrush work?

  • Possible but I would not risk it.

  • Luck. With expensive optics it is not worth relying on luck so clean them properly.

  • Cotton will scratch the lens.

  • dude this is for people who have invested in an expesive piece of equipment(tbh imo an exensive toy) and want to know how to keep it in nice condition. asswipe

  • hi i again i do one sceme where is lm317,2x10 ohm,100ohm pot,10mf 16v capacitor,cd burner laser and 7,2v battery i want to made my own laser what ignithes matches and pops balloon.does it work with cd burner diode??

  • dragonlasers website is to mutch expensive :S

  • Our lasers are not cheap but you'll find they are better value than anywhere else.

  • even wickedlasers??

  • Definitely better value than wickedlasers.

Lower prices, higher quality and better service.

  • Go with dragon lasers. They are the best. Theguy099, you know I have a dragon laser. Just trust me, wicked lasers is WICKED OVERPRICED. Plus, dragonlasers has a AMAZING online chat support! They will give you all the info you need! I've had a very good experiance doing business with dragon lasers. They deserve to be more known.

  • Why is it too dangerous to leave the batteries inside the laser?

  • The battery terminals can corrode.

  • please say where i can get some lens for my 32x dvd burner diode lm317 control and 3 volt battery.i dont have lens where i can get lens please say??

  • ask around on a laser pointer forum. There'll be some there who'll know.

  • You need 6v's for a lm317 controller. Also, I am

pretty sure that a diode from a 32x dvd burner will not work very well because they aren't 5.6mm diodes. There actually something much different.

    --hydro15

  • how many mW wus that laser?

  • From memory that was either a 95mW or 125mW Viper laser

  • thanks for the tips

  • What lense pen is it that you have?

Because I checked out the company and they have a whole range of lense pens.

  • The larger one which is all you normally need is a "lens pen pro".

  • Do you know how I'd find the lens pen pro?

  • My 100mw green pot mod laser from dealextreme is showing a point and little point looking things around it. Do you think that the lens is dirty, scratched, or moist inside (or all 3)

  • Your problem is either a dirty lens or defective laser.

Dealextreme have good prices but their lasers often have quality issues.

  • Nice Vid

  • Thanks. Any ideas!

  • Anything other than safety matches or white matches.

  • My 125mw laser that I got From Nova Lasers rated at 143.5mw can not light matches. It just smokes them alot, is there somthing wrong? The lense is clean.

  • try changning the type of matches you use. Some matches can be very hard to light.

  • i just blow into the lens and if that doesnt work i just lick it with my tounge. it hasnt failed yet

    (joking)

  • I've never had any problems with Q-Tips.

  • where do u get those tools

  • The lenspen are from a company called lenspens. The orange bulb should be available at a chemical or art shop.

  • Hey, I have a CNI Nova laser, which is the same build as your dragonlaser. I am having trouble taking off the lens cap. It does not screw off, and I don't want to force it open. Was yours always that easy to take off or unscrew?

  • The lens cap should unscrew very easily. Gradually apply force to yours till it comes of. You can try holding it between two pieces of wood that will grip well but not damage the cap.

  • Would that void my warranty though?

  • Normally no. The lens cap is designed to be removed so you can clean the lens.

  • ok i have a alcohol lens cleaning solution that i use for my camera, but my cameras lens is made of glass and i think my laser lens is plastic, can i use it?

  • To be on the safe side, I'd say no.

What laser are you using that has plastic lens?

  • just my 15mw, i think its plastic but i'm really not sure, i dont want to start poking around with it haha.

  • also would a copressed air blower take mist or fogg off of a lens?

  • where can you get a compressed air blower like that?

  • This one was bought in China so I'm not sure about the US. Try art/painting/pottery websites or stores.

  • well are air compressers the most reliable way of cleaning them or is it just the cheapest?

  • Cheapest, easiest and most reliable. 9 times out of 10 when a lens is dirty, compressed air will clean it.

  • Thanks man, and you could get it at an arts and crafts store or art ceramics store?

  • You should be able to find one at a photography supplies store, if they still carry those...

  • try best buy. thats where i get mine.

  • can you make a video showing beam shots of an orange laser?

  • No. I don't have one and can't see myself borrowing of one for a while.

Orange lasers are cool because they are unique and have a nice beam color. Not the kind of things that make entertaining videos.

  • why does the viper have no label?

  • It does he just removed it

  • Nice vid!

  • Cool! I always wondered how you were supposed to clean a laser. Now we know. Thanks for the tip and love the little bleb at the end :)

  • Does dragonlasers sell a laser (this is not a request, simply a question) that is very durable, goes a distance of 50 ft in daylight, and attaches to a gun barrel? Say a BB gun or paintball gun?

  • The Spartan lasers are very durable and could easily go that distance. The problem is at 50ft the beam is still capable of damaging some ones eyes. Repeated recoil is also likely to damage the laser over time.

Your best option would be to buy a handful of cheap 10-15mW lasers and use those.

  • cool

  • woot 6th comment 80th view

  • Do I even know you?? Why do I get msgs from you???

  • so whats the difference between compressed air and blowing on it (and lets say the person blowing doesnt spit lol).

  • Compressed air is clean where as your air from your mouth will contain moisture and debri.

  • how about sucking from close? hehe

  • woot 20th view

  • do those lenses get dirty often?

  • Woot first comment. XD
