For those with the wiimote shutting off during cios installation, make sure you use the arrow buttons and change the number to the ios you are writing over (ios36) for most of you. I had the same problem.

Using a different tutorial thats similar i had the disconnect wiimote problem too... it turned out that i never had cios249 installed (somehow my 4.2e wii restubbed itself so used multimodmanger to unstub and reinstall 249)

Use AnyTitle Deleter to remove IOS249 before you install Wanankiko's custom IOS249. The new 4.2 has a block in IOS249 that simply needs removed.
