  • I'm getting a Samoan tattoo Umaga style soon. I'm so excited

  • @yellowman808 stfu with your negativity

  • do u know links of designers who can help me a bit? i have many ideas and many have seen many designs but I will never do it without consulting an expert

  • @thatonesub420 the word tattoo comez frm the Polynesian word tatau, so the people below u r correct n ur the retard, dumb ass

  • The two people under me it is tattoo retards

  • I would love to get a traditionally done Polynesian tatou, my worry is that well, first off, I'm a girl and have no knowledge of the culture. Although my father is Samoan, my mother is Danish and for me it would be a much firmer link to a part of me that I do not know ... But I worry that I might disrespect the art and the artist, which would never be my intention. Or look like a complete fool *laughs*

  • @OnlyLiarsLoved Have you tried asking your polynesian side of the family about your lineage? If not a true tatau artist could provide you with designs that could represent your life story or family.

  • Traditional feast? Huli huli chicken. AHAHAHA

  • hawai?

And Mele Kalikimaka To You And The People of Fiji!! (:

  • @ceaznation What!?? dude ive seen some traditional mexican tribal tatts and they're pretty cool. You should have pride in your people man.

  • I'm a Westener (British) and have always been fascinated by Polynesian culture which inspired me to pursue my dream of becoming a marine biologist, and to someday visit Fiji. I love the Ta Moko tattoos, but also appreciate their significance to the Maori. Is it ever acceptable for someone like me to get/earn a Ta Moko? I would wish for it to be completely original and performed with an uhi (chisel), but I wouldn't want to cause disrespect. I would see it as an honour to these great peoples.

  • @whittyjd Hey mate, coming from a family and tribe of very traditional Maori, it sounds like your head and heart are in the right place. If this is the case, it would be hard to cause offence when aproaching someone about getting moko done. I would suggest learning as much as possible about the culture and the significance of what you want done (If you havnt already), talk to people and just generally do your homework. British have been getting moko ever since coming to NZ, so yeah...

  • @haVVaiianVVarrior because i dont like them and there just too dull

  • @ceaznation What?! Chicano style tattoos are badass bro....Just saying

  • @herc2770 well i know theres history and culture i done looked all that up. i would like to get it because theres alot of meaning in the tattoo. i dont want to get a tattoo cause its cool, i would get it cause it means something to me and only i would know, thats why in this case only the poly tat came to mind when i had seen it. i dont tend to affend you

  • @ceaznation Why don't you get a mexican tatt.?

  • @Waltah alright i will man, its just i dont want it to get and the polys be like why are you getting it your not samoan, tongan and etc. i would like to embrace it also.

  • hey im mexican and i been wanting to get the poly tat. but is it like stealing yalls cultures? and would yall get mad or anything if any race would get this kind of tats? please respond

  • @ceaznation No i dont think it would be "Stealing" the culture. But i would do some heavy research before jumping into anything...w w w . t a h i t i t a t o u . c o m

  • @ceaznation As a polynesian it would be very offensive.

Because to you its a tattoo that looks cool, but for us its our identity, history and culture. Some will even question you of your ancestory and when you a non-polynesian with a design linked to a peoples of oceania they will consider you a thief and will proberbly beat you and remove ur tattoo.

Just get a Tattoo with polynesian design but be very careful not to get one distint to polynesians

  • Why all the quarrel? People say they dont like having non islanders wearing their ink yet i see alot of islanders wearing Japanese styles. Im samoan i have borneo and thai style ink on me. When those native people see it they are happy that people from other cultures respect their styles enough to be put on themselves...Especially a samoan ;) I dont mind when i see palagi or whoever wearing it as long as they know where it comes from.

  • @Waltah Well idk as a Hawaiian my race has been through so much shit from outsiders and having our culture nearly exstinct at one point...I think something sacred as our tattoos are our identity. Something that differates us from the rest of the world. Makes us unique.

True bro but the thing is most palagi don't know what it means. They just think it's cool or for show. They don't respect our culture. That's the sad part.

  • @HaVVaiianVVarrior Yeah i know what you're saying uce BUT (I think) its still cool to see other cultures rocking the poly ink. And most of them do know what it is and where it comes from. In fact now that i think of it i have not met one that did not know what it was and what it meant. But to me i look at it as advertisement for the culture (not sure if thats a good or bad thing..Ha!).

  • @Waltah LOL not a sole but thanx...Aha well palagi here in polynesia know it because well i'm sure they grew up around us and our culture. But the ones elsewhere just put it for fun which to me isn't cool...

Ehhh it could be both ha.

If people just respect our culture i would have no prob with it...

Sadly a rotten bunch ruin it for the rest ha..

  • @TheAustronesianUnity That's right brother. This 1/4 Hawaiian be reppin' my bloodline all day and in the respectful way. We don't diss other polys cause it's dumb. We're all the same and one fam.

Ha man fuck the US. They FAIL.

Much love and respect to you man. And your race.

  • @TheAustronesianUnity Ye bro, fuck the NZ government they are a typical white western busy body government. It's good to see that polynesians are united. After all the south pacific is ours not theirs ! Like when you get white australians or white new zelaanders telling other races to go home get out of THEIR country. It's like fuck off bro how about you go home lol

  • @TheAustronesianUnity oh fuck yeah thats right hahaha . . need to stop with all that miltary dictator bullshit cuz hahaha I vote maori party anyway and we are pro fijian government hahaha fuck the nz government they already stole one country now they getting too greedy . . pigs

  • @TheAustronesianUnity what's the pm ? And ye aussie chicks love the dick cuz hahahaha

  • @TheAustronesianUnity Ye i'm pretty sure that samoans and tongans are more melanesian than maori/tahitian/hawaiian. Fijiaans are pretty much exclusivly melanesian. Polynesians are a mix between melanesians who they met on their travels and their asian origins - for maori/hawaiin/tahitian the indigenous people of taiwan. Always a bit weird with fijians because they kind are but arent polynesian lol if you know what I mean.

  • poly fo life. MaoriSyde cuhz

  • i love how this guy says all the words, he sounded like such a douche bag. and i hate when people get poly tats and think they suddenly know every thing about them. if i was isea i woulda tattooed a shitty version of the hawaiian tats and say its very professional looking.

  • It's sad anyone like this white guy can get a tat.

When us Hawaiians get a tat there's always a meaning behind it.

The way all poly tats should be done out of respect for our ancestors.

  • Why all the hate?? For god sakes we're all polynesian. I mean it's good to repp your race but it's not cool to put down another race. That aint right. That's not how we polys are, we taught respect from young.

And why all the hate on my race Hawaiians?!? Wtf have we ever done to you. Most of you never even been to Hawaii or met a Hawaiian before yet ya talk shit.

No other poly race has suffered as much as how my people did. So don't judge if you don't know.

    Poly Pride. HAWAIIAN CHEE (:

  • @HaVVaiianVVarrior we all hate on the hawaiian race because there is no such thing as hawaiian any more. its always mixed with some thing. and your tattoos are the easiest one in the books, they suck ass and are usually just squares and triangles. and, back in the early days, i mean early days, the hawaiians where like weakest polys ever, shit, killed by tongans, raided my maori, made fun of by 4 islands, damn i can think of a lot of things.

  • @herroIMlilo Well i'm sorry to hear that man. And no Tongans never been to Hawaii and Maori never came back to Hawaii. And on my dads side mostly everyone is pure Hawaiian and a lot of my neighbors are pure Hawaiians. So no we're not all mixed. Haha you've never seen our tattoos huh lol?

Again sorry you feel that way whatever you are. I love all polys. Cause us Hawaiians are raised with respect.

  • @HaVVaiianVVarrior I believe maori are most closely related to cook islanders (pretty much the same race and language) then Tahitians and then Hawaiians. Then the tongans and samoans are closely related. Don't listen to that idiot. He obviously doesn't understand the massive affects colonisation has on native populations especially in Hawaii and New Zealand. Tonga, luckily, never experienced the mass emigration that Hawaii and NZ have. If your a maori, your a maori doesn't matter how much %

  • @Pomaori Aha true. To me Hawaiians, Tahitians & Maori are the closest relation. Then Samoans & Tongans. I know man Tongans & Samoans; don't get me wrong i love them and i got Tongan & Samoan cuzzins; but they just don't understand like you said. They say we're weak. Yeeah i'm sure they wouldn't last against western powers either.. It's just our islands are jewels...

    True that man same here.

  • @HaVVaiianVVarrior I agree 100%. No offence man but there are SOME samoans and tongans out there who love to play the race card and are so over the top about being samoan or tongan that they don't appreciate other cultures yet alone other polynesian cultures. I think it's cos most of them don't live in the islands so they are unrealistically nostalgic about island life. The truth is we are more closely related than asians europeans etc. because the islands were the last place man settled

  • @Pomaori Aha yeeah espeacialy the ones from the US. They talk all hard yet like 80% of them never even been on an island before. Idk to me it's just an ignorant few (Who only talk shit on Youtube mind you) that spoin it for the rest. They're a disgrace to thier race and to all polys. And ohh i really don't get how they say Hawaiians & Maori are exstinct...Like wtf there's so much of us. Yeah there may be a lotta mix but they act like they're the only poly race left. And we share the same blood.

  • @HaVVaiianVVarrior Exactly. It doesn't matter what you look like or what % you think you are to us being maori is more than that. It is really just a way of being. Proud, respectful, understanding the tikanga. We used to have a white mate who was more maori than all of us, if that makes any sense, even though he had no maori heritage. Because of the way he was. I am proud to be a human first maori/polynesian second. And I acknowledge all my polynesian roots cos we are all the same!

  • @Pomaori Ha in Hawaii it's kinda the same. As long as you respect the land, Hawaiians and our culture; you're ohana. Yeah we taught respect from young and also disicpline. I think it's like that all over polynesia. But true in Hawaii it don't matter your % or ethnic back-ground. I got some friends who act just like me and they aint Hawaiian lol. Yup Polynesia 1Fam 1Love 1People. Some *eheem* Tongans & Samoans seem to either not know history or forgot that.

  • @HaVVaiianVVarrior I think it's just that they are too proud to acknowledge anything else. More humility and being humble wouldn't go a miss ! It's no wonder where ever you go when there is a large tongan and samoan community they are always fighting because they are too bloody stubborn and proud lol.

  • @Pomaori Ha yeah they act like they don't have faults. LOL dude in America they just kill each other like it's nothing. Stupid niggers. But hey, that's what happens when you white washed lol.

  • Tatted up

  • *rite, not 'right'

  • @TheAustronesianUnity I agree 100 percent.

  • Aisea is currently in San Francisco. If untreated in setting up an appointment email me at sialehavili@yahoo.com. He is here until the first week of December.

  • HOLY SHIT and i thought my name was dificult 0:42

  • @mazafuzle you aint poly, if you grew up in poly its easy as hell.

  • @herroIMlilo of course i aint poly

  • Fly method of getting a tat, I think its better than some electric needle.

  • AMIZING!!! AISEA SULUAPE,,,would love to one day get a tatatau from you!

  • th all that pride and ego a lot of you continue to carry, you will always continue to be divided!

    "Divide and conquer"

  • All you internet and youtube educated puppets arguing about samoa this and tonga that! Shit, for what?! What do you get at the end of this bullshit?! Nothing! No trophy, not even some pounds from your waist. You forget we were one people before samoa and tonga came about. We lived together, ate together, fought battles side by side, drama broke out between chiefs we fought against each other. Which is how samoa and tonga came about. Culture, language similarities still exist to this day, but wi

  • Fijians ain't poly?! Says who?!

A lot of Fijians have polynesian blood flowing through their veins. Look beyond the color of their skin.

    You ignorant fool!

  • Anyone know why Hawaiians don't cook in the ground like most polynesian cultures ?

  • @Pomaori They do.

  • @Pomaori They do.

  • @Waltah Oh, cos every time I see a Hawaiian meal they cook it on a spit. Not underground

  • @Pomaori Really?!? My uncles just cooked kalua pig in our imu like last week lol. Have you ever been to Hawaii bro lol?

  • @HaVVaiianVVarrior Na bei, I thought when they have a cookout it's always on the spit. Makes sense that they would but just never seen it/heard of it. Every time I see Hawaiian cooking it's always a pig on the spit

  • @Pomaori Haha neggz i have never seen anyone cook on a spit before. Idk man but we cook our pig in the imu ha.

  • @HaVVaiianVVarrior bro have you seen this video ? they cook on the spit in this and I've seen it a couple other times. Never in the ground although I would have guessed they would also do that.

  • @Pomaori Ha i see that man. But it's just in this vid they do. I'm saying all my ohana and everyone i know that's Hawaiian cook in a imu. Ive never seen anyone in real life cook on a spit i think they just did it for T.V.

  • @HaVVaiianVVarrior I seen it on a movie too, some shit called 'forgetting sarah marshall' they had a spit on there and they had a little speech about it being traditional. Same as they said on here. I think they may do a spit in samoa and tonga and maybe some of the other islands but we don't do that in new zealand. I thought we were more closely related to Hawaiians so that's why I was curious.

  • @Pomaori Aha dude that's all media lol. And true that Maori & Hawaiians are like siblings.

  • Fuck im just on this cuz its a project im doin -.-

  • fijians are polies. they are like the black polies. hawaii are the ones that the polies dont care about though they are "fake". they didn't do shit to represent themselves. it was the fijian, tongans, samoans and cooks that did alot of the work.

  • @herroIMlilo AGREE

  • @herroIMlilo What??

  • Fijians ain't poly

  • @coconuthusker thats why people should say pacific islanders

  • Hi there. Can you please tell me which show this video is from? Thanks! =D But apart from that, pretty interesting video indeed.

  • Proud to be Poly!!! who cares who was slave or who wasnt wtf does that have to do with anything here? stupid idiots!! get the fk out of here TROLL!!

  • POLY PRIDE <3

  • That was beautiful I want to endure the pain and get one of those

  • I want one. I love their designs. Another tribal tradition that I like is African Scarification. I don't think I have the heart to go through that though:(

  • Polynesian Tattoo is beautiful, I love Polynesian tattoos, has 2 pictures tattoo maori, wants to have more :">

  • bro it isnt a polynesian tattoo it is samoan tatto the pe'a is samoan...like where do you think hawaiians derived from...samoa!.....its funny how throughout the whole thing he says poly tattoo when its samoan, you should really acknowledge samoa thats the country where the tattoo you got came from, just saying.......and polynesia isnt a country its a group of pacific islanders, polynesians!........so one last time...... these tattoos are samoan:) samoan pride.....cheeeee hooooooo

  • Hello,

    I have a question.

I'm going to take a maori tattoo and someone from youtube made me one and he told me what everything means but i want to be sure or it is right.

Does does anybody noes the meaning of a maori tattoo?

Can i send you the design that someone made for me and can somebody tell me what it means?

or otherwise do you no somebody else that understand the meaning:

    Greetz,

    Ricardo Toonen

  • PE'A IS NOT HAWAIIAN !!! FA'A SAMOA CHOOOHOOOO!!!!! STEALING OUR TATAU.

  • Not Hawaiian

  • Samoan tattoo...not Hawaiian

  • If i had to guess...the host of this show kisses pickles. Just seems like he enjoys a good frolick in the "peter patch".

  • what show is this?

  • aisea is my uncle

  • This is how the name come about. And not from tata+ u. "Tatau" is the name of a special gift given to someone who is leaving. If girlfriend goes overseas, i would give my favourite t-shirt soaked in my favourite perfume as an i tatau!! The art of Tattooing was a gift given to the Samoan ladies from Fiji. Just as i would be happy to know that my galfriend is wearing and cherishing my t-shirt that side, we are hapy that our gift to Samoa is still practiced and cherished.Maroroya nai tatau!Bula!

  • ALL YALL STOP ARGUING. DAMN. POINT IS, POLYNESIANS ARE THEE ORIGINATORS OF TATT'S SO FUCK ALL DEM PALAGIS AND OTHER RACES GETTIN TATTOOS. THE COPYIN WHAT WE DID AS PART OF OUR CULTURE FOR REAL PURPOSE FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS. HAWAIIAN, SAMOAN, FIJIAN, MAORI, ALL OF US ARE THE ORIGINATORS OF THE WORLDS "COOLEST" SHIT. THASS OUR SHIT. DONT LET NOONE TAKE THAT FROM US. KEEP IT ALIVE.

  • the ancestor's from 2000 years ago would have struck and killed you before any of they let any of that ink touch the skin of a jocker

  • what the hell is a peha you idiot. it's called the Pe'a. people like you man.... smh....

  • Too bad in Fiji tattoo is almost history ,,,, if people really wanna research the origan of tattoo came from the Viti makawa. (Old Fijian)!Thats the history of its origan rest of the islands wont agree or acknowledge it !We admire all this poly designs,,, much love!

  • @ilaivunibola Didnt they say 2 women came from Fiji to Samoa singing about the tatau that only the women could get it...Then when they got back to Samoa they got the words to the song messed up and they said that only the men get tatau? I gotta go look it up again but it went something like that.

  • @Waltah 2 women swam from Samoa to Fiji bringing back to Samoa the tools of tattooing that is when it was mastered in SAMOA. In Ancient Fiji only the women were tattooed but it wasnt on there thighs etc like the Samoan Malu and Pe'a. There is even a master Samoan craftsmen Clan in Fiji today known as the Lemaki Clan.

  • @Waltah now im confused. i read that this happened when the Tongans came to Fiji. They wanted to introduce tattooing into their culture-sent a man back to Tonga, & he didn't want to mess it up, so he kept repeating "Tattoo the women, but not the men; tattoo the women, but not the men" , then.. he tripped or something and forgot the order-changin it to "tattoo the men, but not the women" aaand bam-the Tatatau

  • @Waltah the Fijian word Tatau means to lay upon one a message, like when u are about to leave u give a speech of farewell and during this speech you will try and emphasize a message of what you might find important for one to know...like for example 'dont forget to feed the cat'...that is your tatau...that they dont forget to feed the cat...but then it also could mean repeatedly hit (tatau or tautau)

  • @Waltah - ive heard a similar story but it was 2 samoan girls who ran away from samoa and fled to fiji - and they were taught the pe'a and when they came back to samoa, in the confusion, of it all, the Pe'a was for the woman not the men, and in time it changed from woman to men... thats my understanding.

  • @Waltah and You're right!

  • @ilaivunibola almost? lol i think it IS history in Fiji. Read up on "fijian tats" women were inked on their butts, vulva, lips and fingers. know any fijian with an inked butt? LOL

  • @My1two ,,yeah thats sad for us fijians about this cool tattoo thing that brought about history, and blood line and also just show casing the talent of the islands,,,but havent seen a inked butt yet,,,inform of the inked butt was for slaves and wives of the chiefs as a mark of ownership.,,,would love to see one lol!

  • Comment removed

  • @ilaivunibola yeah and i heard this story (no disrespect to anyone cause i'm merely relaying what i heard) that the Tongans introduced this tattooing thing into Samoa as a way of humiliating further (pretty sure that's grammatically incorrect ^_^ ) ? Tonga ruled Samoa or something like that? Can anyone shed some light on this "story".

  • @ilaivunibola Fijian tatoos were very similar to the Samoan and Tongan without all the swirly designs as of the NZ Maoris. the Fijian tatoos were usually on women depicting their titles and social status. it was stopped by missionaries in the 1800s and they were successful in doing so. traditionally tatoos were around the thighs waist, groin area, breasts and arms. there are some good resources in the USPs Pacific collection Laucala campus.

  • aisea knows his stuff he didn't just decide to start tapping like this out of the blue. he put work in to learn about the culture of it all. don't bash him or anyone off of a couple mins of film. tongans use to get this style of tattooing along side with the samoans. it was banned once the king became a methodist. he even had all photos, books, everything that had to do with it burned. but some of the royals still went to samoa to get the tatatau done. google it and u'll find out for urself.

  • i want a Polynesian tattoo so bad

  • Not being tryna gromble samoans was slaves to tongans i hurd?

  • @kalaheo69 What does that have to do with anything?

  • @Waltah I wish i could go to hawaii to get my polynesian tattoo, but its too expensive, where could i go to find a good design cause i know each one has a meaning to it.

  • @kalaheo69 yea its true bt we dont like to bring that shit up we remain humble bout it.

  • Not so fast Kalaheo Tongans were slaves to the Tui Manu'a Dynasty of Samoa until later Tonga freed themselves. Then hundreds of years later the 15th Tui Tonga becomes a paramount Chief in Savaii but is then defeated by Samoans birth of Malietoa Dynasty. Then hundreds of years later a powerful group of Samoans from Safata (UPOLU) migrate to Tonga starting a new dynasty in Tonga known as the Tui Kanokupolu Dynasty, Kanokupolu means Heart/Flesh Of Upolu. This new dynasty conquered all of Tonga.

  • What many dont understand is that the Samoan Pe'a or Malofie is 100% Samoan. Tongan Chiefs of rank in the past would almost always get tattooed by only Samoan Tufuga's. A Line of Chiefs in Tonga known to only get tattooed by Samoans was the Kanokupolu Line who have roots in Upolu. Just to name a few Tui Kanokupolu Mata'elehaamea received and wore a Samoan Pe'a with pride. Tui Kanokupolu Taufaahau Tupou 1 travelled to Samoa and received and wore a Samoan Pe'a with pride. The list goes on

  • who is this guy

i wanna get one for my grad present

  • @nainoa0007 Aisea toetuu his shop number is 330-5612

  • @nainoa0007 Aisea toetuu his shop number is 330-5612

  • do you need to be hawaiian to get these tattoos? Cause i really like to have one. But this is not something you can get like in a shop

  • he knows his stuff awsome tattooist , were is he from i heard he was tongan hawaiian ??????? is he any relation too the late paulo ?? :)

  • @TheVoltron25 No he's not, but youre right. He's Tongan, Hawaiian. He owns Soul Signature on Kapiolani across the street from 24 hour fitness.

  • heyy why is all da tongans nd samoans hating on each ada...last i checked we all familia..

  • what tv show is this from?

  • @ellis900 History Channel's "Ancient Ink"

  • Shame on this tattooist for putting a SAMOAN pe'a on a Hawaiian-no disresect to Hawaiians, and you can preach about how you wanna modernized the art and mix and match whatever patterns, but point is, some things are sacred that you don't just give them away. The meaning of the pe'a is much more than what this fool explains in this piece....and shame on the tattooist for not knowing his own history and facts about the SAMOAN pe'a. Stop f*&^king around with tradition uso...oh, I mean Brah!

  • @sam2dabone Whoa slow down sole. He didnt have a traditional Samoan Pe'a. He gave him a mix one that represents his family. And aisea is bringing back the art and culture for all Polynesians. What are you doing? Ive had the pleasure of meeting him and what he is doing is great for all islanders. So take a minute and think before you start bashing. One Love.

  • Comment removed

  • @sam2dabone , bro samoans wernt always samoans since the begining off time, when they first settled in samoa were did they come from ???? posibly hawaii or even raro mayby south america. I feel what you are saying that samoan art primaraly Samoan pe'a in this case should be kept sacred. But you would be naieve to think this way weather u want too beleve it or not samoan pe'a has patterns and aspects from all over polynesia, so what this tattooist is doing is --- new polynesian tribal

  • @sam2dabone You sound like an ignorant person. The pe'a is not a Samoan tattoo, but an Polynesian tattoo. The only reason why you think its a Samoan tattoo is because the Samoans kept alive while other Polynesians forgot about it for so many years. What Aisea did is reviving the Polynesian art of tattooing, and he also helped other ethnic groups revive their art of tattooing. Go and some research before you write things, because your looking very stupid right now!

  • @sam2dabone actually he does noe his facts on a SAMOAN pe's bcuz he studied under suluape patelo, suluape patelo gave aisea the blessing to become a suluape himself.his explaining for this show was the way it was so that palangis cud understand it more.nd he isnt fucking around w/tradition,my dad studied hard and for many years to get this far, stop dogging on him!

  • @vaisioata02 Well said Nandi!

  • @sam2dabone - Your right the Samoan Pe'a is traditional but you are all hating on Suluape Aisea for what? Do you know how he got the title of Suluape Aisea? It seems that all of our Samoan people Hating is just out of jelousy. Do you even know that the tatau tufugas living in samoan sell away a pe'a to anyone for money? If you have the cash you can get a pe'a & alot of you walking around with pe'as are self made chiefs because you had money.

  • @sam2dabone - Suluape Aisea spent years researching the pe'a, researching the meanings of symbols, patterns & history. Seeking out the elders, other teachers, historians to learn. It was his passion & it's what drove him. He spent weekends, traveling about the island to research in libraries, bookstores, to spend time with elders to listen to there stories. He spent 7 years under the supervision of Suluape Petelo. Both Petelo & Paulo heard of Aisea & his passion & wanted to meet him to teach him

  • @sam2dabone If anyone should be shame it should be those who open there mouths quickly and out of jealousy. Suluape was willing to teach & some people felt they were better, they had uncles to teach them. As Suluape Petelo said " We have to change with the times, Samoan men were leaner back in the day, a lot of men who come to get their pea's done today are fat & so patterns need to be changed. Suluape Aisea respects the culture & carries on the art & traditions of the pe'a.

  • @sam2dabone I say shame on you for trying to bad mouth one of my closest and dearest friends out of spite. The Pe'a does not belong to the samoans. Only the name of Pe'a belongs to the samoans. Throughout the pacific other polynesians have their own versions of the pe'a. Suluape Aisea was blessed, named, & adopted by Su'a Suluape Petelo & is registered in Samoa. I say to Suluape Aisea SMILE ;D in the face of the haters because it will burn in their hearts & only God has the right to judge you

  • @sam2dabone He specifically told him he would give him birds and some other stuff that represents every day life in Polynesia. Do you really think he would do such a thing? He is smarter than you think. He didnt give him the traditional pe'a

  • @sam2dabone dude?there much more things worse thanthat!!!!>>>>

.a white mans sharing yo culture yo?

  • @sam2dabone people are allowed to do what they want! I can get any number of sacrilegious tattoos. I'm sorry this is the modern world we live in... you need to grow up, and take a chill pill.

  • wat tha hell thats not right, this is all false man
