(ZHEN) I like how you show the numbers in motivation at the beginning. Your output graphs look very colorful! The whole presentation is very professional.
(ZATA) I like the way you went back and forth between the features of the model and the large picture of the model. The picture of the hospital car behind the interface made it kind of hard to read, but overall, the graphics were very helpful.
(LITT) I like the way you present your ERG model. The UI looks really easy-to-use and useful. However, the product summary page seems to be incomplete?
(HSIW) Alpha males!! Good job! Very clear and easy to understand presentation. One thing to that can potentially be improved is the interface. You do this by adding descriptions to the inputs only because the term bandwidth could get a bit confusing. Great job though!
(VTSV) The graphics are entrancing! While a little distracting at times, they look good enough that it doesn’t really hurt. The interface is nice, the output graphs in particular look very crisp.
(BGNG) Effects were really cool. Maybe distracting sometimes but definitely worth it because it really kept my attention on the video. Excellent explanation of the model. Should consider having less words on the slides (my group had this problem too).
(MCYL) I really like the way your went underneath each component of your ERG model to further explain inputs for "triage assessment" and "match&serve". I am also impressed by how your team incorporates the doctor utilization and waiting time on a same chart during your interface demo. The animation on the presentations are very cool and I don't find it distracting. Overall, great job!
(ZNEB): The graphical representations from the interface seem very useful and make it easy to pinpoint key data issues. It would be nice to some more information about the business model as well as contact info. Overall great job.
(MIKI) The simplified walk through sure is very helpful. it is introducing the processes often exists in ER operation. Oh and the slides, I think it does have professional feel on it. Maybe because of the moving pictures on the lower left corner on it that makes it cool. One suggestion is maybe you guys can put in more pictures on the walkthrough part so it is more attractive to the viewer.
(IRBP) The design of the slides is very nice but has too much text. The objective is very clear and powerful. The simplified walkthrough is easy to follow. The Web Interface is very well design. The product summary is a nice way to finish.
(JPIN) Hands down, you guys have one of the best powerpoint presentations! I love the banner on the side however after a while it can be distracting. I also really like how you zoom into certain aspects- for example Triage assessment. The outputs are somewhat “scary” looking, I think they could have been a bit simplified. Great job overall!!
(MUFC) Product developer here. Apologies to everyone who thought the animation was distracting.
As for the critique, I think it'd have been awesome if we could have implemented a scheduling mechanism, but on the plus side, our model is *very* customizable and the analytical reports would be really really useful for an actual client.
(SSSS) I found the UI a bit difficult to read. While the image of the hospital in the background is fitting, it makes the input fields difficult to read. Otherwise, great product!
(BALI) The presentation has excellent pictures and overall graphics. Motivation, details of model, and eventual outputs are all clear and well-presented; the simplified walkthrough, especially, is easy to follow and understand. There may be a lot of inputs to enter, and it may be feasible to perhaps pre-configure or provide default values for some of those. Other than that, the product looks very promising.
(NEMO) very professional presentation! definitely something I see actually being presented in real-world scenarios. The way that your verbal event graph broke-down the complex system you are simulating was spot-on.
I didn't notice it before, but the moving graphics are kind of distracting. I like how you kept referring back to the "simplified walk through" because it made everything flow nicely. I also really like that fatigue and change in patient condition over time is factored into the model; these make the model seem a lot more realistic.
I liked the presentation's graphics. I would like to maybe see a bit more animation with the event graph to better understand it but good job on explaining it. The user interface is nice but the input screen looks a bit intimidating with the long list; maybe reorder it so that it looks simpler. Great job.
(NKOB) Structure is very clear since the presentation is centered around the event diagram. Nice thought to include the fatigue level, a very personal touch. Presentation wise, it would be better to use bigger fonts to make it easier for the audience to see.
(EFST) Moving pictures and stuff are very cool, but leftover powerpoint transitions and animations hurt the effect. The UI looks quite difficult to read, especially on a screen likely found in a hospital. Consider removing the background and putting the inputs into multiple columns, and changing the outputs to match. Other than that, very good, as-much-as-needed walkthrough from situation to product.
(BEAR) I love the product background and the extensive system walkthrough. Interesting output graphs to show utilization of all different resources. there are too many benefits, words, and terms so it is very complicated to figure out where and how I’m going to use this product. Could be simpler for a ER customer.
(COBU) I liked the moving pictures on the left of the title slide, but after awhile they were just distracting from the presentation. I feel as though you have too much text on your PowerPoint slides. Need more visuals to keep the viewer entertained. The user interface looked very good. I especially liked the picture in the background. Also, there seemed to be some issues with the sound in the video. Overall, I was impressed and would consider buying the product.
(PKIM) Like the industry background and in-depth explanation of the model's rules and assumptions. The technical difficulty with the sound was a little distracting, but other than that, great product. Liked the bar graph that is generated as output, and that the output informs the user of the bottleneck
(JABO) Again, cool animation on presentation slides. Clear objectives of your product. I like how you implicitly explained your product output. Only thing is that the sound noise that appears and disappears in the background during the transition between presenters.
(JAKE) I like the animations and don't find them distracting. The simplified ERG would be easy to follow for those unfamiliar with simulation. The UI has a lot of inputs which makes it seem overwhelming and would be tedious to do many trials.
(DESP) Good animation on the presentation. Make it easier to follow the content. But it would be even better if you had an agenda in the beginning so we know what to expect.
(HERM) Great presentation. The animation actually did not bother me :) However, the input interface is a little overwhelming. A little clean-up on that page could have helped. But overall, great job guys!
(YLEJ) I like the way you presented your simplified model. Very easy to follow from someone not familiar with ERGs. Although it is good for the UI to have so many options to customize the product to fit their need, it seems kind of cluttered at first glance and somewhat difficult to read. Nice results though that are easy to understand. Good explanation of reading the output and explaining the nursing bottleneck.
(2173) you have alot of input blank. can you make it more simple? or is it okay to do it? and How can you improved solution to the client in terms of reduce cost? Nice job!
(OBAA) Very well-organized presentation. I especially liked the simplified walkthrough diagram, it was easy to understand. There seemed to be a couple of editing blips which were a bit distracting, but it is clear that you have a great product.
(RABA)I love the app.I like the fact that nurses and doctors can serve multiple patients simultaneously. I also like the motivation slide and the info you give the audience at the beginning. I had a small comment about allowing the user to enter the distribution of arrivals. Although, it's a great option, it all depends on who is using the product and if they are technical enough to know the kind of distribution to use. Great job!
(RGTZ) I like the Powerpoint, very stylish. The start is really good with background information. Also the Arrow direction ERG is really great for people who are not familiar with a traditional ERG, yours is very intuitive.
(imab) Love the opening!! it is very eyed-catching! I like how you guys start off with shocking statistic of Rising hospital costs! The model is indeed going to help minimize the cost and maximize the service! Overall, excellent model !
(glad) I like how you start off with the objectives, minimize cost and maximize service... excellent. It sounds like the triage determines the treatment but I assume that some times the triage cannot determine the type of care that is required (ie there must be some diagnosis beyond triage). I like how patients conditions can worsen while in the system. Great job. What are the units on the double axis graph?
(EATN) The most fancy powerpoint i've seen so far. Great job! Also the summary does its job. Maybe be a couple of examples would better demonstrate those points.
(MEEK): I like how the objectives of your product were clearly defined at the beginning of the presentation! Also, the simplified walkthough was a really unique and creative way to describe the model; this made the various components of the model more understandable. One suggestion, on the output graphs include units on x and y axes to give user a better understanding of the simulation results. Great Job!
(XLOT) What kind of distribution are using to determine if a patient's condition worsens after a treatment? I really like the presentation. I think the match & serve slide made the point very clear on what you are trying to achieve. Great job!
(JLLJ): The presentation was done very well. When you talk about the different components of your model, you tell us about all the features and it would be useful but you don't show us an example of your simplified ERG or where it is actually used. Rather than just having all text there, I would consider presenting your model so the user can follow along and have an idea of where in the model the feature is being used. The outputs of your interface were done very well.
