I don't support John McCain for the Presidential election campaign. Nor I belong to any party, besides...I am done with 6 years in the Marine Corps. However, I do believe that John McCain was tortured in the prison. The North Vietnamese was even killing their own people who resisted joining their force during the war. So, how was that possible that they didn't do anything to their enemies. Besides, they didn't register to the Geneva Convention, which POW regulation didn't apply to them.

If you want the truth, you have to search for it, do research, find the numerous accounts written by POWs imprisoned with McCain. Heck...use common sense. If he broke both arms, then received top notch medical treatment, he should have had full mobility returned. He can't raise his hands up above forehead height.

They also beat him badly enough to re-break one of his arms years into his imprisonment.

Americans soldiers fighting in Vietnam were not saints either. They took out their stress and loss of comrades on the Vietnamese civilians. American soldiers set fires to entire villages, shot civilians close range, and raped the woman. It is hard to find anything that is truly black and white about the Vietnam war. Both sides committed atrocities. In the end it was a pointless war that patriotic Americans still claim that they won.
