every Komatsu I have been involved with has been has been solid, this is a PC300HD-6 you see here. they had the HD in the -5 series as well. BJ has a real skookum PC400HD, about as robust as they get. It is an ex-Canfor Engelwood roadbuilder, skookum as all hell

SMS can't sell used equipment to save their life and my off-the-record experiences that you know about support this.

@skadill not surprised as there is a bunch of Kobelco and Komatsu at Woss, Engelwood, Vernon Lake, Beaver Cove, etc. that WFP owns, all inherited from the Canfor days. Lots of good looking video worthy gear for you in there.

@Graveltrucker How is Mark doing these days anyway. Totem Bar in Zeballos has a PC300HD-5 highwalker, real tidy looking machine, they haul it around on a swaybacked old 40ton Columbia crossways, good times

A Krapmatsu even new they are not the fastest machine, that is the PRE HD series.

Something different atleast your not working in the city dealing with digging on a residential lot.

@gangesexcavating They are okay, somethings are a little on the cheap side. With Komatsu dealers changing hands more than a person changes their underwear not many people are buying Komatsu machines. The old Terra Tech salesman was a pretty aggressive salesman, the SMS salesman your rarely see.

@Graveltrucker on another note, I would have to kick that panicky traffic flaggers ass, I seriously couldnt listen to that loudmouth on the air if thats what the radio sounds like in the cab that Todd recorded.

@gangesexcavating For myself why bother getting worked up about it, just shake my head and laugh and get on with the rest of the day. We did have some fun at work when the flag girls were close enough we would say something rude over the hand held. You could here the girls say who said that LOL
