from one of my all time fav LP's... Although T/L had & has a huge fan base i think they are still underrated! Phil was in no doubt a musical genius.. with Eric Bell & Brian Downey were a trio of pure magic! i know Lizzy went on to gr8r things but the 1st 3 albums they done as a trio are just Classic!

Some gentle giant he was!

A memory that will stay with me for ever.

The band have an unfortunate rep in the US as meathead rockers, but stuff like this shows they were really great Irish romantic poets in leather jackers. Great stuff. I visited Phil's grave in 2001 when I was in the lovely Emerald Isle.
