This was recorded back in the first weeks of BC, known as the "ZOMG OP CASTERS" period. Before casters were nerfed so their classes weren't OP from the sudden changes to spell damage gear.

You can thank this due to the beta version of BC being capped at 67, doubt we would see this happen again in Wrath, *crys* no more fast leveling to the next cap thanks to OP spells, ah well.

Spelldamage cap for warlocks is around 1300 I think, not sure, I know its 1100 for mages where the % added to base spells becomes 0% for each additional point of spelldamage. And for Improved Fireball its about 1050approx. and 900 to 1000 for improved Frostbolt. Surprised at how many people don't know much about caster classes, guess its why the skilled players seem so OP. lolz

(And yes the cap not really applying to healing classes is why resto druids and discipline priests are so OP)

take a look at affliction specs too. you're way more mana efficient and still can do redic damage. sl/sl (siphon life/ soul link) spec gives you amazing survivability so you can outlive the competition. all specs have their perks it just depends on your play stlye.

Resilience is at an all time high thanks to the current gear starter set as season 2 and season 4 being the current cap, yep thats between 300 and 500 resilience, thats 7% to 15% reduction from DoTs and a whopping 15% to 30% crit resist, which effectively slams everyone's crit chance to 0% additional.Basically you want attacks that circumvent resilience, that is spelldamage, and % to damage, haste also helps, but the haste gems don't do squat, so go for the trinkets.
