10 years ago I thought this kind of thing was a joke too... Then I went to beijing and got my ass kicked by one of the Yao brothers. Yiquan is powerful, but very very esoteric. Most people will never get it.
Like every respectfull martial art yiquan tries to develop the power of the whole body and mind.
this goal is achieved training the directions of the forces combined with a great footwork.Yiquan has no long standard forms,but just principles and great methods to develop them.yiquan practitioners are very free,fluid and solid. So, it is garbage if you don't know and you can't see...Beautiful and useful if you know it!!
