@Aussiedog95 I have to disagree. I have shown dogs in my family for a long time. Yes, all dogs are mixes of something. But in order for a dog to become a registered breed, its characteristics must be repetitive and constant. "Chugs" don't have constant physical attributes, which shows that they are not a breed. For now, they are just mutts. Mixes. Hybrids. A Chihuahua/Pug cross. Someday, professional breeders may be able to give Chugs recognizable and constant features.

Chugs are often considered a better choice than purebreed pugs as the snouts that cause many pugs breathing difficulty have a slight extension in the chugs causing less breathing difficulty, This combined with a much cheaper initial outlay make them a very popular choice.
