Had this phone for almost 2 years Works amazing still , and it can take a beating probably the strongest phone out on the market ive dropped these on concrete numerous times, camera is good too, games work well too, browsing the net is pretty fast and easy to use too. Only Con is if your on WIFI and browsing or doing anything with the internet it drains the battery with in 4 hours

@Energy96cs HTC desire is almost a year old, if you want an high end android you should go for Desire HD or Samsung Galaxy S. The wildfire S on the other hand is a budget phone, it has a decent performance and cheap when compared to the Desire HD, but dont get a wildfile (predecessor of wildfire s) it sucks big time.

Wildfire S: 320 x 480 pixels & 3.2 inch display with TFT 256k colors, 600mhz processor, 512 RAM

Desire: 480 x 800 pixels, 3.7 inch display with Amoled 16M colors, 1Ghz processor, 576mb RAM

The desire is a clear winner. Take it :D

@Energy96cs if you suck at flashing phones, dont buy desire. without custom rom or atleast root its fuckin useless, internal storage is about 70 megs which is way too low for apps and games. flashing a custom rom is very difficult if youre a noob with pcs...

@322082702 never heard about any problems from htc desire. my dad uses htc desire and it works really smothly and feels better than defy. It has 1 ghz processor, whereas defy has 800 mhz, so it make desire 20% more faster, also as a company htc is more reliable. The biggest advantage of defy is that it is life proof, but it is up to you cuz the price of defy is a bit lower.

I own this phone since last November, I must say this is the best phone I ever used till now. It got everything you normally expect in a good mobile phone.

Only negative part of this device is that it hot very low application memory. You can not have lots of applications at a time on your device. That's kind of annoying. HTC should do something about it.

Overall it is a great device. I don't care what other people think cause buying a mobile phone is based on total personal choice.

Im getting this phone tomorrow. I was a little sceptical as I don't like touch screen phones usually as I've always experienced a lot of lag, and they've commonly been very unresponsive. But every video I've seen on about this phone, it's seemed very responsive. You're the only one that's mentioned the fact that if you have an interactive wallpaper selected, it'll lag a little. Thank you SO much for this comment. I'm glad there's still honesty on youtube.... HTC will be proud of this video!
