That's true, but U also gotta look at it in another aspect...LaFace was owned by "L.A." Reid, and he promoted Donell very well. Reid has always been very successful in promoting his artists. Now that LaFace is owned by Jive Records, they didn't promote "Journey Of A Gemini" as well as they should've, and the album is one of the most slept-on albums in recent years. It's such a shame because Jive is very selective with their artists...mostly corny artists; why do you think Nivea left?
