dude awesome! ya i bought one 2 years ago and it was a little rusty, but i havnt had much time to work on it. lol and yesterday the slave cylinder went out. thank god it wasnt the master cylinder. but ya no clutch for now, gotta make some time to fix it. :) but nice paint job man! thats what i am gonna do after i roll out some dents. :)

IS going to be resprayed to (white) an some nice Chrome Modular wheels on it etc.! :D

Ja best wel, maar wacht daar nog ff mee totdat ie wegenbelastingvrij is! ;)

Ligt eraan wat je lekker vind rijden, het stuitert wel een beetje en het stuurt als een dweil, maar dat komt ook omdat het een legeruitvoering is, helemaal kaal dus en wat zwaardere veren eronder.

De Suburban daarintegen zweeft weer over de weg en is gewoon een heel stuk luxer, al dweilt die ook nog wel, maar dat doen alle amerikanen! ;)

Bij Van Dam waar ik hem gekocht heb kostte die al dik 8000 euro, wel rijklaar en met kenteken, maar heb hem ook nog laten spuiten enzo en toen kwam het op 10.000, dus je kan hem net zo goed gelijk laten opknappen haha! ;)

Wat vervangen moest worden is vervangen, en er zijn nieuwe stoelen ingekomen, nieuw dashboard, en de binnenkant is ook helemaal geschilderd!

Verder zijn er nog 5 gloedje nieuwe banden onder gekomen! Onderkant is ook getectyleerd ;)

The military versions have also a NATO slave cable receptacle for slave starting, a 12/28 volt electrical system, A Brush Guard, 4 tow hooks (2 in front, 2 rear), and a NATO Tow Pintle to tow trailers or even aircrafts, they also have Blackout Drive Lights ;)

There are probally more differences, but I don't know them all haha!

I just bought an 84 m1009 cucv for $900 on ebay. A little rusty in the rockers but runs great! Everything works lights, heater, etc. I drive everyday (so far) can't beat that 6.2L diesel, good luck and dont baby it, get it alittle dirty!

Maybe this is interresting to know for you foreigners: Here in Holland you don't have to pay roadtax anymore if your car is 25 years old or older!

Thats why he doesn't have the sidewindows anymore, because he has a so called 'Grey licenseplate', that is actually for company cars, but much cheaper in roadtax! ;)

But when he is 25 years old I will put the sidewindows back in!

I bought it at a company in Holland who has all kinds off military vehicles, but they are specialized in US army vehicles, aspacially in the Blazer (cucv m1009) and the K30 (cucv m1008), they also did the paintjob and all th other work that was needed to get it so nice, he is just like new! :D

Heres a question, why'd you waste your money on flowmasters? You could have gotten 2 better flowing (flowmasters have chambers, not straight-through) mufflers from like dynomax or Cherybomb for half the price of one Flowmaster, and it'd sounds just as good. I spent $40 for 2 Cherrybomb glasspacks and it sounds good.
