There are links beside every post for "bogus" and "cool." You click on them and it changes the poster's score. In most BBSes, it's called "karma," only to be a curmudgeon I turned it on its head and made lower numbers better. So rating a post "cool" takes the poster's bogometer reading down by one; rating it "bogus" increases it by one.

how does the bogometer work?
is negative a good thing or a bad thing?
and how do i get more or less bogometer points?
