Well Talea100 What is your opinion, do you think it will be as good as the original? even thought the original cast won't be in it? also, is the new cast going to be british or are they changing that as well... also also, thanks for the episode :D

@wolves13ish It'll be filmed and set in Vancouver, so it'll have a primarily North American/Canadian cast. Impossible Pictures is one of the co-producers, though, so it should be on par with the original. They said they're going for a little darker, a little more adult, so it sounds a lot like what Torchwood was to Doctor Who. I'm interested to see how it turns out.

Ok so Talea100, I heard that for Primeval New World, they were not going to use Hannah and Andrew, is that true :( and also, I can't remember which episode the one is where they go into the future to save Abby's brother after he sells Rex, the one where, at the end, Abby and Conner kiss for the first time. Do you know which one I am talking about?

@wolves13ish New World is a spinoff from the original--kind of like Stargate Atlantis or Torchwood. It'll have a new core cast, but it'll be in the same universe as the original, with some crossover potential. I know they'll have at least one cameo from the original team, but I don't know more than that. And the ep in question is s3, ep 8. :)

OMG... That was totally awesome... I miss this show so much, no one would happen to know anything about if they are going to make a new series, do they. The last thing I heard was that, if, and that is a big if, they decided to make another series, it will be in 2013... anyone know any more?

@wolves13ish Hey! Last we heard, we were waiting for ITV to decide whether they'd got good enough ratings to help fund series 6. We do know that the spinoff (Primeval New World) is a go, and it starts filming in Vancouver in March. If you want to keep up on the news, find Primeval ARCadians on Facebook.
