@chipbreakr What all can be done to these engines? can you mill some off the head , ballance the crank ....things like that ? I have a 61cc poulan chainsaw engine that I am going to use for an rc airboat and want to get as much performance that I can !
@MrJet1982 If your engine has a bolt on cylinder you can machine the bottom of it to up compression , degree the ports and widen them lighten the piston , there are all kinds of tricks you can do to them .
The carb isn't on upside down , but you can use it either way , as long as you rotate the gasket between the carb and manifold , so the small pulse feed hole lines up with the one on the carb .
i have a boat from weed eater engine i did the water cooling cheap a scoop from ebay then got copper tubing and coiled it rould the engine and it seems to work fine
Have you ever done any work on a larger cc engine. Like a 61cc chainsaw ?

You machine the fins off down to the top of the exhaust port , then made a waterjacket out of aluminium .
