Wow. this is better than the studio version - and it's years later! I like the swirling, pulsing, organic rhythmic feel this has, compared to the staccato studio cut. The intro and bridge/solo are awesome too - this band just keeps getting better.

I'm a 41 year old 80's music fanatic, and Lips Like Sugar is easily my very favorite song from the 80's. The best ten years for music in the history of mankind. Even some of the music I didn't like back then sounds fantastic compared to the crap on the radio today! And this song tops them all!!!!

@mgm2112 - I'm 61, and your right,but it's only crap from the 90's till now. If you were my age, you would love the 50's+60's music.The 70's was a time of change. A lot of the music was great,but you had different styles which is now called genre.

And then came the 80's and MTV. The video were cool,but the music was great !

For me 1986 -1989 were best. But all through-out the decade the music was excellent ! The groups that came from other countries were the best. OMD is my favorite group.
