This is merely showing names from other lands of earlier times in a total different part of the world. This argument does nothing to defend the American archaeological evidence of the book of mormon. How about the evidence of the battle of Comorah? Metallurgy of the kind that the Nephites and Lamanites had in the book of mormon period 600 B.C. to 400 A.D. mesoamerica? This video by any standard is weak, it doesn't defend any of the American archaeological hard evidence of the book of mormon!
There are no metal swords in the late Classic period. The anachronistic use of advanced metallurgy in the Book of Mormon, combined with the frequent mention of gold and silver as important items in the Nephite world, present one of the greatest challenges to Book of Mormon scholars. The overall consensus of Mesoamerican scholars is that advanced metallurgy, including smelting, did not exist in ancient Mesoamerica until the Late Postclassic period, or around 800 AD. Cold hammering no metallurgy!
I just read more from Nibley's "Prophetic Book of Mormon" today. Oh, there is so much evidence for the BOM. The book of Mormon itself is it's own evidence. Beautiful.

four archaeological contexts, not bad. But never enough to satisfy the unsatisfiable.
