  • its the most beautiful airplane ive ever seen!

  • Without a doubt, if Boeing decides to make a -900 version of the plane, with new technology thay can build a full two-story aircraft that beats the A380 in all categories.

  • Someone please, please talk Boeing into bringing the Intercontinental to the Australian Airshow...pleeeeease.

    Beautiful, beautiful beastie

  • That old thing is looking pretty cool...

I will bring my old beetle to West Coast Customs and it will look brand new...

  • This plane will make more money with less problems than the A380.

  • High Tech & Gorgeous aircraft.

  • Wow, at least it is nice to know the 747 will be around another 30 years. which will be a total of 80 years, Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!

  • @pcmiler2000 LOL no more than 20 but it will be 10

  • Love the aircraft but those execs, perky and dour, give me a cramp.

  • but the 747 is not a new plane, are they still updating it?

  • @mustang19ms This is a new version of the 747, this is the -8 intercotinental. So I guess you could say that they are updating the 747 series

  • @dogfight001 AHEM It'd be VC-25B. But +1 for it. Great contender for the position. Boeing 787 to replace C-32?

  • @spreilly481935 Oh and also we need a KC-25 and EP-25 of this Aircraft. I agree that the C-32 will be replaced by 787 version of the type.

  • yes, a real double decker for the win. A380 is nothing but a product of a dream, a fantasy. Boeing winning Airbus at the latter's home territory and having it's A380's wing clipped, spells something. Good luck SIA, ur first to fly a fail plane.

  • @Boeing MAKE A VC-747-8I PRESIDENTIAL AIRCRAFT! Any objections?

  • Notice both of the members of the public interviewed were American. Of course they're going to love it!

  • BOACMach2 was the fat guy crying on the apron when the 747-8 showed up in Paris

  • Gorgeous airplane!

  • So when does the plane come out cus I want to ride that plane to japan.

  • @cholomackdaddy this will be the last ever variation of the 747

  • The 747-8 son of 747 SP and 747-100+

  • NICE

  • Dear Santa....

  • just wondering...are the windows as large and feature the electric dimming like on the 787?

  • The windows are larger but not to the size on the 787, but still a 12 percent larger (or was it 18?)

  • @vietman90210 Probably not. All the videos I've seen and what I read, they never said anything about it. So I think they're still the same.

  • the big daddy is here yeah!! :D

  • Boeing and Airbus are so good ! This new 747 is very very beautiful ! I wait for the future new A380 too. I love airplanes ...

  • I'm in love with 747-8 <3

  • @1:38 Are you threaten us? lol

    Nice bird though..

  • When all the A380´s end up in some remote desert aircraft graveyard when airlines had enough of it and all the problems that the A380 is plagued with, the 747-8i will still be flying.

  • @Sooksawaspakdee961 That would explain why no airlines have cancelled orders, and some have even increased their orders once it had entered service.

  • First to note I'm not talking bad about Boeing but bio-fuel is a scam. It costs about 800$ a gallon . In my opinion Boeing should be and is I bet is liquid methane it's just a better fuel source and cost a lot less. The 747-8 other then that is the best plane I have seen in a long time but I would love Boeing to come out with liquid methane planes first since Boeing is the best Plane maker on earth. Side note the 787 looks so nice I cant wait to push it back from SFO.

  • damn thats huge

  • Despite all the praise I see for Airbus planes, all I hear in the news are pilots making fatal errors with those jets.

  • @Aolaris AIrbus knows its there planes cause for almost every single airbus crash they say pilot error pilot error

  • the narrator snraked in about 15 compliments.

  • Sorry, but folk can rave on about the A380 all they want, I've been a spotter for 30 years now and I have the chance to see all of the current A380's that are flying and you know what. None of them matter because I still love to see the grand old lady of the skies the 747.

Money and economy is one thing, but the 747's beauty is timeless, despite her now 40 year's. Well done Boeing!

  • 747-8 FTW!

  • Great aeroplane. But comedy voiceover.

  • Nice.

  • AIRBUS - 730 airplanes worth 72 billions dollars. BOEING - more than 142 airplanes worth 22 billions dollars. On this Paris Air show 2011 AIRBUS WON :)

  • Whatever as llong as I can fly something I am happy ..

  • Nice plane. Was nice until A380. Now it looks old (especially to Airbus), and it is old no matter what Boeing saying "new airplane". New in what? - construction? ..or conception? ..or avionic? ...or economic efficient?... or capacity? ...is it better than what - the previous 747 models or than A380? Is it easier and more friendly for the crew or maintenance than Airbus? I don't think so, regarding to my personal experience maintaining all of the Boeing and Airbus family. It's time for a changes

  • @ARMATURISTA Its better then the 747-400, like she said. It carries more passengers, more fuel efficient, new flight control computer etc..The 747-8 is basically a new generation 747 just like the A330 is a new gen A300 and the 737-800 and 900's are new gens of the classic 737's.

  • 好大的 灰机!!!

  • SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Big

  • So many understatement comments

    "This plane is big"

  • majestic! I'll take any Seattle product before coming close to Freddy Frog's "Scarebus"

  • Hey guys can you subscribe to me? I make videos about tech reviews and what not. Thanks :)

  • so basically they used random people to test the airplane....

  • "There was definitely some excitement in the air." HA! ITS FUNNY CAUSE HE WAS FLYING A PLANE AND THEREFORE WAS IN THE AIR AND...okay, ill shutup now.

  • Compensating for anything, Boeing?

  • im sorry but the biggest airplane is airbus A380

  • A380? We don't need no stinkin' A380!!

  • 10 people watching this are Airbus fans.

  • I want to be an engineer for Boeing.

  • "This plane with it's Vibrant Colors and...AHHH!" "Tom it appears one of the engineers has been sucked up by the plane's massive engine."

  • its a huge one

  • i'm sure this one is not gonna make into kost of india airports!!!!

  • Yes, but ... will it blend ?

  • watch crazy with danny in it hes a great song writer!

  • 0:55 "some excitement in the air" see what he did there lol

  • That is so cute.

  • Planes are awesome. I can't imagine being intelligent enough to envision/design them.

  • @littlechickification I just wish they would change how they actually measure leg room in these plans. Having the seat slide forward while you recline reduces the leg room so much... I'm average height at 6 feet and my knees are against the back rest of the seat in front if they recline...

  • I got to fly this plane last week... in Microsoft Flight Simulator

  • Can you say "Flying Cattle Car?"

  • ohhh its a plane!! I thought it was some crazy CoD game

  • Thats a big plane.

  • I think that this plane and others are even near Concorde passenger airplane

  • Boeing may be right after all, not to build the double-decker like A-380, which keeps running into buildings and other aircrafts while taxiing.

  • @KATAERO1 both are good planes.depends what your needs are.the a-380 can get up to over 800 passengers.i would not go into crashes if i where you.boing does not have a great record on that either.lets just say both companies make good aircraft.

  • @KATAERO1 Saying that - I think you know that ALL of the A 380 taxi "problems" are because of the FRENCH PILOTS - not because of the plane (to check that - just look here the videos with incidents, and pay attention on the "taxi lines" they are "following" in JFK and Le Bourget )

  • the 747's are the sexiest aircraft ever built....go BOEING

  • @101u I don't know... I still say the P51 Mustang is the sexiest air craft ever created. Then again, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

  • needz m0@r butter

  • The queen of the sky returns!

  • The woman at 0:28 is so full of crap lol! every plane is like that on their first times.

  • WTF is the big deal?

  • Will it blend?

  • But will it play Crysis?

  • lol at 0:37 i thought it was actually the guy talking

  • @AflacsGotchaBack24 i caught that to

  • Yup, This is the way its supossed to be done, not fighting Wars for Control over Minerals... -Cugh, Cugh- Oil, US.

  • and why is this plane so important?

  • @NoneNameAvailable its cheaper to build more efficent on fuel and quiter it also can hold a lot more people i mean its Boeing one of the most important aircraft manufacturers out there theyre solid

  • @NoneNameAvailable Because it replaces the Airbus A380 which crashed at this Paris Air Show!

  • @NoneNameAvailable did u miss everything after 1:16

  • "The Paris Air Show" ?? Really ?? It's called "Le Bourget".

You wouldn't call Los Angeles "The Angels".

  • @Porcelanesa Actually, Le Bourget is the name of the airport, as well as the name of the commune around it.

  • thanks boeing i just drooled all over my keyboard wishing i was there at that airshow so much heavy metal to enjoy :) cant wait to see her fly in person wonder if delta might eyeball this one but me thinks the 777's they have are working for them wouldnt mind seeing one in american airlines chrome tho ^_^

  • what a beautiful bird, i wish she cld beat the A380 on seating capacity

  • Why am I watching this?

  • :38 michael scott with a mustache

  • anyone whos ever worked on boeings and airbus's know how much more solid the boeings are. its nice to see the queen still has it !

  • 747 are excellent for the haulers full load runs. new york chi, san fran, hawaii japan . theyre not supposed to go to smaller airports. that would be like commuting with 6 people in a school bus.

  • Why didn't they say anything about travel time. I hope it travels faster.

  • Go USA....that's what Boeing is all about!

  • Amazing.

  • Donald Trump will take 2

  • @coinageboy Airbus A380 sucks!

  • @MrBlemph YOU suck...

  • sexy

  • @coinageboy It's also too big to serve more than about ten airports worldwide.

  • Meh, make a plane that doesn't use fossil fuels and then I'll be impressed.

  • new colors

  • I appreciate the technological feats in fuel economy and sheer size of the aircraft, but I really think they are missing the mark in what travelers are going to demand in the not-too-distant future. Places all around the world that have seen so few visitors are opening up and new markets all over the world are diversifying and multiplying. It would seem we need smaller capacity, more frequent connections, not gigantic, less frequent ones. Am I way off?

  • @Allomities its cheaper to build, fuel, crew, and maintain one airplane that holds 300 people than two that hold 150 people.

  • BEAUTIFUL!

  • airbus ftw!

  • Go Boeing! Airbus just got owned when their wing clipped a building lol...

  • Yea. What's the gas tank size?

    That's what I thought.

  • I just looked up the Airbus A380, they had to withdraw from this airshow because the wing broke, lol.

  • WELCOME TO THEE FUUUTUREEEEE!

  • i like the a 380, but this is more iconic, classic and elegant

  • I love 747-8i

  • I smell a troll

  • the most beautiful jetliner around

  • At least it doesn't look like a fat and lazy whale.

  • hope it never falls...

  • ΕΛΛΗΝΕΣ

  • Beautiful. :)

  • cheap flyer :D

  • idk why im afraid its gonna break lol

  • the americans are jealous cuz they finally got something .... but this air plane is in no way better than a380

SEARCH IN GOOGLE .... EMIRATES A380 FIRST CLASS ....see for yourself

  • @lanterom since when is ANYONE that isn't a millionaire going to be able to afford sitting in that first class? Size isn't everything.

  • @lanterom The A380 can serve what, five airports worldwide? Try again.

  • @vroom2000 hahaha so what sexy....

  • Good Business.....

  • 1:38

Has anyone else noticed that the engine is made by Hallmark?

  • @rkim1993 lol..its not hallmark......those letters are G.E [general electric].when it comes to engines for jets, fighter jets,airplanes...G.E[U.S] and Rolls Royce[U.K] make the engines.

  • @rkim1993

    that's a GE logo lmao

  • wheres the flames and racing strip?

  • AirBus A380 is greatest, largest and sexiest in the world

  • @nano202002 thats what she said

  • good more jobs for US

  • correct me if im wrong but didnt in the past they make like one type of boeing than it was used for like 20 years with only safety changes, and now these days it seems like a new plane is made every year

  • Why doesn't Boeing incorporate the 787 window shade design in the 747-8i?

  • What a beautiful machine! Too bad 80% of it is made in China

  • Stunning! Can't wait for the "F" to park alongside her!

  • love the new 747-8, better than the A380

  • love the new boeing 747-8!!

  • niceee equipment

    passengers'seats look coolll^^

  • Great news!!

To bad you won't really be showcasing it to the public on the Paris air show public days!

I was really looking forward to seeing this and the freighter and then heard they were leaving on Tuesday!!!

I'm really disappointed being a 747-400 pilot that I(and the people who will fly onboard this great aircraft) won't be able to see the -8i or -8F in public!

  • Awesome!

  • BOEING #1

  • Hope the 747 will fly, cause we must not expect a lot from Airbus, the A400m is not going to fly as well as the A380

  • Should you add a new T-Tail commercial aircraft with the same body of a 727 and 737?

  • Get the freighter on.
