The people at Kalmbach we very gracious in assisting me when I produced "Empires." They set up the Clinchfield layout specifically for my filming and Jim Hediger opened his layout for me to film. See that footage elsewhere on YouTube.

Correct! It was an MR project railroad in the late 1970's.

Gravel (ballast) for model railroad track can be purchased at any well-stocked hobby shop.
