Theres a difference in Pro and I think its called Movie Studio or something.

I had the same problem. What you need to do is convert the video into a WMV format. To do this, download Any Video Converter. Just type in Any Video Converter on google and it's the first one that pulls up. It's a free download. After that, open up Any Video Converter and insert the video you downloaded from detonation films, then click "Convert Video". After that's done converting, just pull the converted video in Sony Vegas and there you go! I can make a tutorial if you want.

Just make sure you still have a black background in the GIF because when you set the compositing mode it screens that out

For the ones who doesn´t have the pro version: download gimp or photoshop, everything where you want to show the bomb. Then you get the same (sometimes better) effect.

i want like a carpet bomb effect but cant figure it out.

@jessestylex You can add as many as you want. Its just all a matter of placing and masking. You would need multiple video tracks, i know that much.

@MarcosMasterful You have to use the Multply tool in the compositing modes. instead of screen. But, I dont like it because it leaves a black box if you move the video in event pan/crop.
