  • Jib weld? Ahhhh, you mean J.B. Weld. For a second there I was about to waste hours looking for this "Jib Weld" lol. Helpfull video though, thanks for posting it.

  • A damn shame, that something like that could happen in are town. A pitty I say, a pitty.

  • Hey great tutorial one question. Did you use the Cheap UV filters? On the jetset website it says not to use the cheap one. what do you suggest?

  • am i missing something ? i have watched part 1 AND part 2. wot happened ? i have no idea how to build this adapter..im utterly confused, its like you missed out the "build" part..??

  • i'm trying to build my 35mm adapter, but i dont have any lenses yet.what is the best lens to plug into its adapter? of course with zoom and focus capability.thanx anyway..

  • can u get different mounts for different lenses? ive got 3 alpha lenses and 3 minoltas

  • Hi check your inbox, after watching this i bought the same camera, and need info on the screen hack as the info you gave isnt there any more. I just purchased all the parts to build the adapter too. And need to chat rails! Come back to me buddy.

  • Hi, im interested in building my own but i cant find where to buy either the canon ee-a or canon ee-s focussing screen, where did you get yours from and how much for?

    thanks

  • would you build me one and i purchase it off you?

  • yes ofcourse that is what i do if you are serious about getting one just message me and we can work out a quote but the adaptor will be arround £150 to buy. and you have to give me atleast 6 weeks to get all the parts.

  • £150 for just the adaptor and 200 for the rail system. BTW i am selling my whole camera system soon. that means the adaptor , lens, a very nice 3ccd camcorder, rail system and more goodies. since it is all adjusted perfectly for the adaptor and i have spent alot of time on it i would be selling for arround £700 if you make me an offer i will sell the whole thing!

  • @Finegold2 could you tell me where one can buy the ground glass?

  • how much would you charge to build the static 35mm adapter

  • ok dude i have a jvc ... and the lense size is 30.5 .... i bought a ring that goes up to 37mm will u email me the rest of the list of stuff i need to get?

  • ok you should not have done that but it will still work it will be easyer to get a 55mm to 30.5 step up ring because 37 is not the diamiter that will fit the adaptor. i will message you the parts list as i donot want spam on my email

  • it will not work with tape i am afraid for an extra £5 just get the correct step up ring.

  • ok i found one ..... so now ill follow the rest of the steps, thank you! and im sure ill have more questions.

  • remember you will need a rail support system for you adaptor and i do custom make them so if you would like to get one just message me

  • what would be the price.

  • the rail system i can make for about £20 to £30 thats about 40 euros the postage will also be very cheep. this rail system is cheaper that any others availible on the market so unless you want to try and make one to the presistion that i can make mine to with a full working workshop to hand you will not find one cheaper by the way the second and last video is up just go on my channel and subscribe

  • i might buy one from you!

  • if you just give me your email address in a message on yt i can email you back with full costs by the way i will only sell through ebay.

  • for the whole kit which incudes the adaptor, rail system, custom step up rings and tripod screws. will be arround £200 wich is a big save on profetionaly build adaptors. it is also a big save on some of the other DIY ones on the market that cost arround 200 to 250 without rail system.

  • just the rail system.

  • so does this adapter fit any hd camcorder? or only certain brands?

  • this adaptor fits all camcorders but you will need to change the thread size depending on your camcorder. i only mentioned the brands because you can guess what the thread is by the brand for example panasonic is usually 37 cannon HV is normally 43 just look it up but as-long as you get the right step up or step down ring it will fit

  • Thank you for making this video! I have been looking for a good design for a dof adapter and this is the best. Thanks again, and keep making how-tos

  • well i would strongly recommend making this adaptor it is brill and i love it

  • I absolutly love these kinds of videos, and you produced this one par excellance! I have my own machine shop and could make most of these parts or improve on this design possibly. I cant wait to try this! thanks a million..
