@TheReIntegration ....I can belive that,my mate bought a front lip spoiler for his e36 going back years ago it was genuine alpina....He paid £400 for it!!..and thats £ not $.
@Billabonger7945 It will for the most part, if someone gets right down on it they will be able to tell from a few inches away that it is an added lip, but for anything more than a few feet away it will be almost impossible to notice considering the lip would be paint-mached to the vehicle like in the one on the video.
I have an E46 330i and the only performance item I have is the Signature Motoring performance CAI for about $160. The performance kit adds around 13.5HP on the dyno, sounds freaking great, and installs in under 30 minutes. Highly recommended.
-13.5 HP increase
-Lifetime filter
-SOUND AWESOME
-30 min. install time
Aside from the power gain, the SOUND is amazing at higher RPM but sounds normal in regular driving. I’m thinking about added high-flow exhaust next.
The Signature Motoring performance intake kit is only $170 and adds up to 9HP in the E46 323/325/328 and up to 13.9HP in the 330. That's about $17/per extra HP... A good value for the extra oomph.
@350drifting It is officially called a "Front Spoiler". And just as with "Rear Spoilers" it "SPOILS" unfavorable air movement across a body of a vehicle in motion. Spoilers on the front of a vehicle can also be called air dams, because in addition to directing "unfavorable air flow", they also "reduce" the amount of air flowing underneath the vehicle which reduces aerodynamic lift
In some small population it may be called a front spoiler to them. But as a whole population, everyone calls it a lip. They make "lip kits" which is basically just like the front lip but also comes with side and rear lips. Many people call many things different names.
Point is, is that nearly the whole population would call this a lip. And the whole population would thing of a rear "wing" when you say spoiler. Terms change over time. Get used to it. Thumbs up's prove it.
My comment has 15 thumbs up's. I am sure that if you understand youtube, that means a lot more people are agreeing with me than it seems. Everybody refers to 'spoilers' as a rear wing. And lips around the body of the car, as 'lips'. Because that's exactly what it is, a lip around the car's body.
A rear spoiler 'wing' will have dramatic effects. A little lips around the body of the car will really do nothing unless it's a top-notch race car where every little aspect matters.
@350drifting the term spoiler can refer to the traditional definition, what is being put on in this video and is sometimes used to describe side skirts. He is using the proper terminology. Lip usually refers to the area along the top and bottom of the grille, calling it a lip would give a completely wrong thought ;) just a friendly correction, mate.
how much does that cost and do you ship to EU? Thanks

You should really call it a front lip, saying spoiler will give the wrong thought.
