Rameez Raja and Ravi Shastri should be ashamed of themselves for their commentary here. This is the most amazing bit of bowling I have ever seen, and it is sad that this perfect moment is ruined by their dull commentary. Rahul Dravid was my favourite player in the world at the time, and I remember being mystified by this delivery. I recorded it on my VCR and I must have rewatched it a 1000 times. After all these years, it's still absolutely amazing.
Dravid struggled against Akram on most occasion and so did a lot of batsman.Only batsman in my memory was comfortable against Akram more often than not and that was Tendulkar.
JUST A TWEAKER! do you realise how hard it is to drift the ball in to a batsmen and turn it away so sharply? no doubt about it this was a good delivery but i wouldn't go as far as saying it is the best. Most pace bowlers can swing the ball like this, Mitchell Johnson although erratic and not half the bowler akram was bowled a spell at the WACA in the ashes swinging the ball in to the batsmen just as much as akram did in this video. great ball by akram but warne's was better.
I am Australian but I also love seeing players from other teams perform well. Wasim Akram is a brilliant bowler. He is humble and praises bowlers and batsman from other teams. A strong spirited cricketer. Rahul Dravid is has one of the best defenses I have seen.

Now what could poor Dravid do to such bowling, one in-swinger followed by an out-swinger , followed an in-swinger , all on the same spot, incredible !! If this is what he can do to a man like Dravid with highest level of concentration, then god will save the rest :)

Rameez Raja and Ravi Shastri should be ashamed of themselves for their commentary here. This is the most amazing bit of bowling I have ever seen, and it is sad that this perfect moment is ruined by their dull commentary. Rahul Dravid was my favourite player in the world at the time, and I remember being mystified by this delivery. I recorded it on my VCR and I must have rewatched it a 1000 times. After all these years, it's still absolutely amazing.

Dravid struggled against Akram on most occasion and so did a lot of batsman.Only batsman in my memory was comfortable against Akram more often than not and that was Tendulkar.

JUST A TWEAKER! do you realise how hard it is to drift the ball in to a batsmen and turn it away so sharply? no doubt about it this was a good delivery but i wouldn't go as far as saying it is the best. Most pace bowlers can swing the ball like this, Mitchell Johnson although erratic and not half the bowler akram was bowled a spell at the WACA in the ashes swinging the ball in to the batsmen just as much as akram did in this video. great ball by akram but warne's was better.

I am Australian but I also love seeing players from other teams perform well. Wasim Akram is a brilliant bowler. He is humble and praises bowlers and batsman from other teams. A strong spirited cricketer. Rahul Dravid is has one of the best defenses I have seen.
