So that they can figure out how to build it up fast , tear it down faster , and so that the band can rehearse enough. With the popmart tour they didn't have enough rehearsal time, they dont want that again. so its just preparation.

I was thinking the same thing. So have U2 effectively hire the Nou camp for a whole 3 weeks? Surely they could rehearse and practice assembling the Claw on a disused air strip or something!
