If they are physically connected without a router between them you can and you don't need to setup anything. If you have a router between them you use: iphelper command on your router what this command does is this: it lets broadcasts from one domain to the other domain. lets say sw1 and sw2 are diferent phisical sites, can i have a dhcp server on one of those and still get ips on the other site?
