@cattheotherwhitemeat Actually thats probably about how much it weighs. It doesnt weigh over 5 lbs. Its basically just the weight of the plastic, cause all the rest is just air.
Hey man been there done that I fished from a 10 foot pelican till I bought a brand new nitro z8 with a 200 pro xs but I stilll caught my biggest fish outta a small pond like ur fishin tight lines and good luck
I found a small sunfish-type sailboat with no sail, mast or daggerboard that someone was throwing away. Me and my friend put rod holders on it, built wood seats, painted it, rigged up a trailer for it, and it is now my poling boat for saltwater, and my pond hopper. Gotta love small boat fishing!
@breamster96 The seahawk 2 only fits one person and a tackle box basically. Me and a friends tried both of us in it, but it was just way too cramped. If you're planning on using it with 2 or more people i would definately go with the seahawk 4.
@thewun1 not at all. when i first used the boat i drug a crankbait with sharp trables over the sides, front, and back, and not a single hook got caught. they just slide right over. the only thing lures get caught on is the safety rope around the boat, but i took mine off and tied it to the back of the boat as a docking rope.
great review, I just got one off of e-bay for a little over 60$ with shipping and handling. Looking forward to going down my river behind my house when it floods this summer =D
hi! at first thx for the nice vid! i baught the same modell a week ago! very great thing! actually this is my first waterride of my life, and its just great! i used it this weekend for a little nice trip with my girlfriend on a river, and it was just amazing!!! its very conftable for 2 person with package too. i'm adicted -> i will it upgrade with a 55 lbs trolling motor!! :0) greetings from luxembourg (europe)
@larry23433 For me it makes it a lot easier to paddle backwards while sitting in the front of the boat. The way the boat was designed, if you try and paddle sitting in the back and paddling forwards, it makes it very awkward and difficult to paddle because the oarlocks are way to far forward. And for the problem of going in cirles, when you paddle you have to twist the oars as you bring them in and out of the water. it took me about a week to get use to it, but if you practice you will.
I've caught trout in the uintas with this boat out here in utah.
