@Minncord the illuminati? i don't think so.....the triangle is actually meant to represent the great volcano on mars, to which would terraform the entire planet (give martians and humans fresh air). howser holds the secret, and thus, which is why cohaagen implanted the memory of quaid into his subconscious. that all goes wrong when quaid decides to visit rekall...and somehow becomes howser again, if only for a few short (and very violent) minutes. thus, is the plot of the whole movie.

The whole concept of a movie trailer is dumb anyway. A trailer is something that follows, like after a car or a truck. Movie trailers are made after the movie, so showing them before the movie is absurd. It is just marketing hype (dishonest) because the movie usually does not match the expectations generated by the trailer.

I can understand the need for marketing but it should be called a preview and it should be faithful to the character of the movie.

I always thought it is the story that is supposed to be exiting. So you take the exiting scenes that have nothing to do with the story and put them in a trailer. That is good because they should not be in the movie.

In "Total Recall" all the exiting scenes are a part of the story so it must be impossible to make a trailer that you think is good.

i think this is my fav arnie film for alot of reasons, 1. i love mars and any movie thats set there and this was one of the first to make it work, the effects for the time were awesome for this film, the story keeps you guessing and is full of twists, the characters are awesome, benny, johnny cab, kuato... woman with the 3 tits! had to get her in there lol, few actors turned down the role of quaid their loss i say, glad arnie got it, and last but not least jerry goldsmith and the soundtrack
