@bethlonergan Prayer is the strongest weapon you have. You can do nothing, but god can work through you. Pray and you will see. Just don't follow your boyfriend and throw your belief away. Thats the problem with dating an atheist. But its not forbidden (DailyDoseOfSunshine). Its just hard to get him/her to be Christian and and easy to fall of the road and leave gods way.

In the church of Ephesus, there was Christians that will drink wine because they struggled with the sin of drunkeness. They will get drunk or come drunk to church. Paul seen the corruption in the church and told them to not get drunk on wine but instead be filled with the Holy Spirit.

You told everyone that your sin is anger and the Spirit prompt me to give you that verse. When we get angry we aren't filled by the Spirit but controlled by the flesh.

In Galatians 5:19-20 we read that "wrath" or anger comes from the flesh. In Ephesians 4:26, Paul the Apostle tells us is okay to be angry but it shouldn't be evident through out the whole day. And in James 1:19 we are told "slow to wrath" whenever the Word of God reveals to us our sin.

No, Gen 1 is the general story of creation and Gen 2 focuses on the end of creation. What Gen 2:19 says is "Now the Lord God HAD formed out of the ground all the beasts..."(NIV translation): this sentence only reminds where they all come from and I guess it also explains why God has authority to bring them to Adam and decide that they would be his helpers. If it meant that God had just created them it would have said "Now the Lord God formed out of the ground all the beasts[...]"
