When I was in 7th and 8th grade: '54, '55 after watching several episodes, my mother refused to let me watch Cheyenne, my favorite action TV show with Clint Walker, my hero. She deemed it too "violent". Years later after graduating from college I joined the Navy SEALS spending 2 tours in Nam. I guess some things never change.

I feel grateful for these wonderful creative videos you all have posted and I can tell you that my love for Clint Walker and what he stood for has only grown.

Clint Walker WAS an amazing man but not everything was good. In best intentions (I have nothing against him and I LOVE Cheyenne) remember he DID leave home around the age of 16.

I met Mr. Walker a few years. He is a truly nice gentleman who enjoys meeting his fans and answering all questions for as long as folks want to talk with him. I was so glad that one of t "heroes" from my youth was someone who actually deserved the accolade.

Hi Diamanda..Nope that wasnt Clint's wife & daughter in the picture. I think it was taken at the Jean London show for the American troops during the Vietnam War era. The shows were from '66 to '72 & Clint was one of the guest stars. Looks like Jean London in the picture & I dont know who the child is but his daughter, Valerie would have been older than her since Val was born in 1950. Cute little girl though & nice photo of that gorgeous man! Sweet of him to take part in the show but he IS sweet!
