He had an amazing debut season in 2007/08, a great cup run in 2008/09 and displaced Ibrahimovic from the starting line-up in the second half of the 2009/10 season. This season was dissappointing, but let's keep some perspective, even Messi only started putting up huge numbers from when he was 20/21 years old. More than half of his appearances per season have been as a sub, which is not at all helpful in reaching consistency...
