  • I think it is worth critiquing Rick Roddicks most excellent lectures. They certainly raise the bar in terms of awareness of the subject matter, sometimes he gets a bit carried away. RIP you star.

  • This is my introduction to Foucault, and I think the idea of 'marginal accounts' is interesting in as far as it can possibly give a more complete, and hopefully, a more accurate account of an overall historical situation subsequently. That is, the overall perspective that's passed on about the account is afforded the opportunity of being more accurate when more information within that account is included. I assume that was the intent, but regardless, it's a positive idea.

  • A charismatic speaker, but he woefully runs archaeology and genealogy together to make one method, when the difference is pretty important to understanding Foucault's philosophical practice.
