The primary elect is the election process that decides which candidate that will represent a particular party in a presidential election. Right now all of the Republicans are fighting for the primary elect to go up against Obama. If Ron Paul wins the primary, he will be representing all of the Republican party, which would be HUGE.

Paul's talking style of delivering his messages must be improved (to sound more presidential) if he wants a shot at the Republican nomination. They never spend any time to help articulate his ideas. Even when the recent Iowa caucus poll showing Ron Paul as a close seond, his name is still hardly mentioned, I just don't get it.

The primary elect is the election process that decides which candidate that will represent a particular party in a presidential election. Right now all of the Republicans are fighting for the primary elect to go up against Obama. If Ron Paul wins the primary, he will be representing all of the Republican party, which would be HUGE.

Ron Paul makes a lot of sense but unfortunately most americans these days have been brainwashed by the same old rhetoric from the establishment. Paul's talking style of delivering his messages must be improved (to sound more presidential) if he wants a shot at the Republican nomination. As sad as it sounds, these days, style is sometimes more important than substance. Boy, if Ron Paul can talk like Romney, he can becaome the next Ronald Reagan and kick start his own revolution.

@zuzuspedals He has improved Before the 2012 primaries his Fb page had 300,000 likes now its upt to almost 600,000. He is recieving thunderous applause wherever he goes, and his message is getting to the young people!

@Drbolla345 , I sincerely hope that you are right. Nothing would please me more if Ron Paul can come out on top in Iowa or New Hampshire come January. Unfortunately, I am just not seeing enough mainstream media coverage on him and his ideas. Without that, the vast majority will still be misleaded and think that the only viable candidates are Romney, Perry, and Cain.

@zuzuspedals I hope not but my experience with most everybody I've talked to has been leaning toward RP's substance in spite of him not trying to look like he's about to sell you car lol, that's always what Mitt looks like to me. But I think after 9/11 and the bailouts the importance of presidential media style has dropped majorly when next to the common sense rationale Ron has been speaking all these years.

@zuzuspedals Thing is his views on certain things are controversial enough that he gets talked about in the office instead of talking about personal gossip about the others. And you've gotta say, he's been constant about those views since day one. I think also what is appealing to most people is the amount he's asking for to do the job. I can't think of a job that gets more persecution than the presidency. Which I'm sure the media will try to do on everything he does if he gets in.

@smudgeronutube Yes, you are right, Ron Paul is a man of substance. Unfortunately, most Republican deligates do not share your wisdom. To them, Ron Paul is a wacky professor with radical ideas - they are too dumb to understand or appreciate what he is trying to say. The american media is not helping either. They never spend any time to help articulate his ideas. Even when the recent Iowa caucus poll showing Ron Paul as a close seond, his name is still hardly mentioned, I just don't get it.

@zuzuspedals It's kind of a shame because Ron's stumbling, "What the hell is this nonsense?" style of speaking is so refreshing in comparison to the smooth salesmen we're otherwise forced to listen to if we care to vote right.

@zuzuspedals Yeah it's true. He's the squeeky old wise man that mainstream America has trouble listening to. He's the most knowledgable, and the most principled. But it seems like Americans want a Buzz Lightyear warhawk with a confident voice and a rigid demeanor. He doesn't have it in him to change his style, and his ideals on their own is the only hope he has to get the nomination. But, with that said, they are solid ideals and he does have a real shot this time around.

Ron Paul seems to have lost his appeal lately. When you look at how he preformed in the 2008 debates, you really got a smile on your face...but now, he stutters and "uh's" too much that it's more annoying than pleasing.

@tubub All I see is a misdirected attack at the Taliban for events that inherently had nothing to do with the regime. We had no proof of the Taliban's "supposed" knowledge of the inner workings of Al Qaeda. Besides, most of the hijackers were Saudi nationals. We didn't invaded Saudi Arabia did we? Harboring Bin Laden, again doesn't implicitly prove involvement in the planning of 9/11. You're assertions are malinformed. Fail.

The United States didn't invade Afghanistan until the Taliban refused to hand over OBL. The argument sometimes goes that they were about to, but that is just the usual flip flap of anti-Americanism.

I don't understand why the troops like being in an unnecessary war... It seems they hunger for blood or think it's game to kill people. Come on, get back, get a wife(or husband), enjoy a family, a peaceful life.
I am Georgian myself, but I am against the war. If USA helps us against Russia militarily we might end up in a WW3. Our only hope is DIPLOMACY and negotiations. Not getting endless debts from USA and spend it in military development... War is risky now, with atomic bombs available...
