  • almost as nice as seeing titties bouncing ;)

  • I like how you can see the engines bobbing around. Amazing video as always.

  • As the Warners would say: Boingy Boingy Boingy Boingy Boingy Boingy!!!

  • Composites are epic!! Nice Video.

  • Glad to see a big bird like her flapping her wings like birds are supposed to! lol.

  • if you look closely you can see the engines bouncing.

  • like a bird!

  • I just love the wingflex!!

  • @killerman778 it says everwhere that it was an asiana 747-48EF

  • @Cessna1541 your right!

  • i can't believe this giant thing fell in the sea four days ago

  • @platinumsalamander i belive that was an asiana cargo 747 not a China airlines cargo 747

  • AWESOME VIDEO!

  • very nice. The wing flex reminds me of an eagle adjusting its wings to land... :)

  • the FIA should make that plane illegal its got way too much wing flex

  • Holy shit, that was some wind!

CHUCK NORRIS MUST HAVE BEEN EATING BEANS NEARBY!

  • AWESOME video!

  • B-E-A-utiful!!! Thanks for uploading the video.

  • @kyuhyong

You copied that from the song Right?

  • shes heavy

  • omfg were you on the runway filming this? so close to the plane!

  • Now thats some wing flex right there! Fantastic capture, great work!

  • 747-400s i meant. Typo.

  • Only the 744-400s have the winglets. The 747-8s will have the "raked" wingtips like on the large 767s and 777s.

  • cool

  • scary but beautiful. to anyone who can answer: do ALL 747's have winglets?

  • @virustwin nope...

  • which airport was this at?

  • Its obviously a 747-400 at 1:09 marked on plane near the tail with the word "Boeing 747-400"

  • @articying

    i didnt see the marked

    thenx for the correction

  • Almost like she was flapping her wings. Thanks for the upload.

  • its not a 747-400

    its a747-100 or 200

  • @aviel9475definitly! It's a -400

  • Reminds me of Red Bull's front wing.

  • chinese pilots...

  • My God, so beautiful when the big bird landed on earth, and very beautifully captured by Simon, especially when it landed...

  • Brought a bit rightmost wing swing.

  • wings are built to flex, i think upto twenty sumin degrees, but this is a nice example.. good vid..

  • And to think they classify only a microlight as a flex wing.

  • oh my god,very amazing

  • rubber wings lol XD

  • Comment removed

  • holy crap its like the wings were been ripping apart by the wind!

  • so glad to see this one in flesh, hahaha

  • Look at the amount of wing flex going on at 0:50!

  • Looked like a bird flapping its wings for a moment there. :-)

  • dude, thats a lot of wing flex!!

  • wow...gooooood...right time right place...

  • Nice catch on this one ;)

  • Amaze 747 :)

  • it still amazes me how these things stay in the air even with yrs of tug driveing pushing these birds back was a sure buzz for me.B.A .TUGGIE

  • Great video, thanks for sharing.

The conditions seemed pretty bad, pilot did a great job there.

  • That wingflex i true orgasm :D:D:D

  • Great video! What camcorder are you using?

  • Those wings are just like rubber. U have somekind of radioscanner :), is it legal?

  • a day of work those pilots!

  • Good thing there wasn't any people on that plane, they would've puked!!

  • ur vids are amazing!

  • My heart skips several beats seeing your work..my god, what a rush!

  • looks like the wing was about to fall off o-o

  • Amazing..!

  • Fantastic video Simon, you're great!!:)

  • Fantastic video Simon, yo're great!!:)

  • Super video.

  • you mean this plane's wings are meant to touch its tips? now that is called awesomeflex haha

  • That must be hard on the airframe!

  • Amazing!

  • Nice video! Very professional!

  • beautiful

  • Superb video! Thanks !

  • One of the best landing vids on youtube

  • i loved those flaps movement

  • Looks dangerous. And awesome! :D

  • wow!! no sideways landing for that pilot

  • @FastFerrari82 its called crosswind and crosswind is when u are going sideways but its called crosswind

  • @Ilovegogosable its very epic

  • Outstanding video!

  • plastic Boeing ))

  • That wing flex is just......... EPIC!

I never knew a 747's wings could have that much of a wing flex

  • man if i was a passenger of that plane i would have a big brown spot in my ass on my pants thank god was cargo

  • nice

  • That is AMAZING, ive never seen that before :) you are the best!!!!

  • strong winds and a heavy bird...even the stabilizer fluttered and the rudder went like crazy...must have been some workout for the captain..really nice camera action. Do you always use a neutral density filter?

  • wow..talk about taking abuse.. the oilots are good

  • From the 30 seconds is more like a bird . Congratulations for this great video Simon.

    Greetings from Argentina

  • I could just imagine what would happen to a 747 in such weather if the wings were not designed for any sort of flexibility whatsoever.

  • WOW truly amazing!

  • seems like it's wings are made of paper!

  • Hi, Simon. What video editing software do you use?

  • amazing videos there simon! i'm a fan of your videos since 2 years ago :) keep it up

  • Nice video. (Oh, it's Simon Lowe.... dude always has kickass videos)

  • amazing, look at the rudder after landing. (1:18) i think the pilots control the rudder....

  • @petershen1984 YEAH NO SHIT DUHHH OBVIOUSLY THE PILOTS CONTROL THE RUDDER WITH THERE FEET

  • @pacora24 how very nice of you. when I posted I guess I didn't make it clear.... i meant the pilots are doing the rudder correction and not autopilot

  • Nice, steady camerawork with the high winds and low fov.

  • Outstanding.

  • Awesome !

  • Flying like a eagle...

  • nobody does it better. Thanks simon.

  • you's do realize that - that wing is designed to almost touch its tips right?

  • you mean the tip of the left wing touches the tip of the right wing? if you DO mean that, thats bullshit lol thats just not true. these wings are flexible but the tips can "just" flex up about 4-5 meters or so.or a bit more. but not what oyu just said lol

  • just checked it, the wings can flex up about 7 meters/26feet

  • why are the wings so flexible

  • then someone who knows about aviation would scream shut up retard

  • @betterdenu452

    read my comment againg fucknugget

  • Fucknugget, I like it.

  • @Kakashi - the wings are so flexible so that the aircraft can withstand heavy winds and turbulence, just like this. As i'm sure you know, energy doesn't "go away". It simply finds something else to do. Because they flex like this the energy in the wind / turbulence goes in to flexing the wings, safely. if they were rigid, the energy would have nowhere to go and the wings would just break.

  • @kakashi802able so that they dont break off. if they are flimzy they can with stand a stronger hit, and they cathch the air easier

  • Think of the wings as shocks or suspention in a car!

  • That's true; I watched a "Wings" program on the 747 years ago on the Discovery Channel, and they showed a stress test, and the wings were almost touching each other before they both snapped.

  • AWESOME thanks !

  • man those wings can withstand anything!

  • The 747 is an amazing aircraft. And thats a smooth landing in strong winds.

  • Never seen wing flex like that.

    Great close ups.

  • Great!, amazing!.

  • great video looks the wings could snap off i like the close up on the landing also GREAT VIDEO!!!!!!!

  • Great airliner. Great Landing!

  • Wow, incredible. Haven't seen one of those for a while. When was this?

  • Sunday 1st Nov 2009. Thanks!

  • Do you know if these come on Saturdays?

  • It is a shake of a terrible wing.

  • If you don't bend - you break. Just really good engineering.

  • Excellent !

  • lol, look at them wings and ailerons go.

  • Excellent! As usual :)

  • Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! That is what I call a sweaty forehead landing. I love you're close up of the wings just before touchdown, allowing us to see just how much they were yanking the controls up front to keep this great plane level. Must have looked like a kid playing racing ganes on his play station in the cockpit. Great video mate :)

  • Would have loved to see that wingflex from inside. :) Well done with that video! More! 5* :)

  • the wings, you could imagine a giant jumping on them!
