I have a halloween question. I think this use to come on Disney back in the day (remember, I'm 26 yrs old). The show consist of real life actors, all I remember there was a Count Dracula and his wife (long dark hair). I can't really remember anything else about it. Anyone have any idea what I'm talking about? haha
Might be a difficult question. Does anyone know the cartoon they reference at 3:30? I swear I remember seeing it when I was a kid, but I'm drawing a blank....
What was the name of that cartoon playin for a second between the trial of Pluto and Peter Pan? The one where there is a creepy guy walking down the street and an old lady sees him out the window, anyone know please tell me.
1:41 - 1:54 It's interesting how comedy can be just as funny today as it was in the 1930s. Disney and his animators were ahead of their time in so many regards.
The little village looks cute at 3:25, but what the hell is that black gauntly thing walking down the pebble road at 3:28? That would scare me half to death, if I was out still trick-or-treating around midnight. Sheesh! Thank you Narrator for the "Hook" warning, that villian gives me the creeps. Cruella's a bitch, she frustrates me!
It's sad they now have shows like Hannah Montana, High School Musical, Cory in the House, and Jonas Bros. (though I understand if my friends like those shows, but I find those shows overrated). And they don't play classic Diseny films on Disney Channel anymore. They just make random Disney Channel Original Movies. It's like those classic films from our childhood don't exist! It's just sad. :'(
I love all of the unique voices from the old Pluto cartoon. I really think it was better when they had certain people do the voices instead of using celebrities like they do now. The old voices are so much cooler. Thought I remember the cat cartoon being scarier when I was little.
It was. This isn't the real one, just some clips edited with a much gentler cartoon. For the original, look up "Pluto's Judgement Day" here on YouTube. Disney tries not to acknowledge its existence.
The full short was released on DVD in 2001, and back when the Disney Channel still played cartoons, they played the full short on shows like Mouse Tracks and The Ink & Paint Club. It was also released on VHS at least once...it's on my "Scary Tales" VHS from the 80's.
There are plenty of things Disney tries to not acknowledge the existence of (Like "Song Of The South"). "Pluto's Judgement Day" isn't one of them.
@DTVzone I would say its pretty much in the same category as Tom and Jerry's Heavenly Puss, I don't see that particular short also dealing with going to hell shown much during the day on Cartoon Network even when they did air their Tom & Jerry block during the day, it does get shown during 6:00 a.m airings, I would say cartoons dealing with going to hell aren't shown as much today for obvious reason.
i wish I could get this on my disney channel and all the other halloween shows they used to show during the 80's and early 90's, but it shows too many modern stuff, ya know?
This is so true. Our kids these days have no idea what good cartoons are like. I would rather have Mickey, Donald and Goofy than Hannah Montana or the Jonas Brothers
amen to that. I wish there was a disney channel classic so you can see some of the old stuff, even the early 90's mickey mouse club, as well and And others, too.

I wish they featured "the horned king" from the black culdren. He's the most underrated and mot badass disney villian.
Metalhead15712 4 months ago
@Metalhead15712 It would have been difficult for them to include a character from a movie that wasn't released until three years after this was made.

@DTVzone oh I did n't know that. My bad

Pluto's nightmare was always the scariest part of Disney's Halloween Treat for me.

Why didn't they feature Captain Hook battling Peter Pan, and being defeated like Cruella is about to?

"Halloween Treat" is shorter and features different clips than "A Disney Halloween", which is also on my channel.
