What a nice performance. He is a lot of fun to watch. Such a good touch for the Saint-Saëns... and talk about making it look effortless! Great orchestra, too. Easily my favorite concerto when played this well.
I'd love to hear Cherkin play Mozart, since he seems suited for the demanding level of perfection and clarity required.
