any clue if this works with the 13" Pro? If I does, I probably shouldn't have gotten the 4GB upgrade from Apple, because aftermarket is so much cheaper...
Apple has always charged ridiculous prices on their BTO ram upgrade options. They are always at least double what it would cost from a 3rd party vendor.
Good Eye! Yeah I had to go back afterwards and reset the back plate to make the latch flush again. It was off by just a hair but it was enough to cause that.
exacly what does rams do? does it speed up or does it extend the amount of processes all at once, i always called those memory chips of i always thought it had something to do with memory.
yeah RAM helps the OS run smooth which will help your applications run smooth. The more RAM the BETTER. If you are running 32bit Windows you'll be capped at 3GB ram.
do you think i should upgrade my macbook pro 4gb ram

Yeah, I noticed. $1000 for 8GB of ram? Get real, Apple. It's around $200+ for that from a third party.

hello. I buy a 15 macbook pro with 4gb of ram. In order to upgrade to the 8 gb of ram I will have to buy 2x4gb rams right?

Yes, get 2 4GB RAMs because you never want two different sized RAMs.

The latch didn't seem to be flush! Did you do it wrong or was that supposed to happen?
