  • The head sounds like the best of what any of the pros of any era write.

I love this guy. Hope someday EJ and him play it together with a nice rig.

  • you make squire look like a very expensive guitar.

  • @kirara5202 have a go at the vibe range .i have a few strats i tend to like the japs, but at the moment i have the 50`s squire as my main guitar .its a hell of player .

  • Thanks for the info on the equipment. BB Preamp works great with most amps...

  • สมศักดิ์ศรีแชมป์ครับพี่

  • great song!!!sounds like timmons, very cool

  • Full song copy and search - Guitar Idol 2009 Winner - Jack Thammarat Band - On The Way live @ Overtone Bangkok

  • @jnorman7 Marshall JCM 900 Head

    Boss GT-8 Multi-Effect & BB Preamp

  • I like this song and this guys guitar playing is bomb. but parts of it sounds like it could be a theme song to a bad 90's tv show

  • lovely lovely phrasing man.. what pickups are those that you've put on the classic vibe..???? they're just the right warmth, but i think the marshall would have a role to play in that too..

  • lot's of people say that jcm900 is the black sheep of all marshalls.. well, for all of you marshall snobs: THIS GUY HAS AN AWESOME TONE!

  • I admire his hard work, love your music Jack...

  • Very satrianish!... loved it...

  • amazing...great talent

  • more interesting than your lead playing is the structure and feel of the rhythm sections. it's very good!

  • What type of head is that underneath the marshall?

  • @Arthurb06 It's a Yamaha DG130 head. Great amps!

  • nice sound dude

  • Great Playing!

  • kinda sounds like something from sonic the hedgehog in a good way :)

  • that's what i was thinking,it remind me a little the level of emerald coast in Sonic Adventure 1

Very great playing by the way ;)

  • Beautiful !

  • its not the guitar that makes the player good. its the player (:

  • Who cares if it is a squier? He sounds damn good to me, and that is what counts!

  • @dzzzt69 I think the guitar's from the 80's when Squiers were well respected... and good :P But yeah, I agree with ya there ;)

  • ชอบเพลงอ.เเจ็คมากครับ เมโลดี้เพราะดี

  • Might be a squier from the 80's. Those were made in japan at that time and played nearly as well as the US models.

  • I believe they are squier classic vibe series actually. But yes, Japanese squeirs frmthe 80's are crazy good.

  • Very Good!

    Great Touch

    Great Technique

    Great Sound

    5 stars

  • What kind of pickups are you using in the strat?

  • Congratulations! Awesome playing.

  • squier... fail

awesome playing though. no way in hell i can knock that

  • that squier sounds pretty damn good though :p

  • เจ๋งว่ะจารย์แจ๊ค

    อยากหาซีดีจารย์มาเรียนบ้างครับ ... ^_^ ...

  • yur last name is so close to mine !! but mine is spelled thammaratH

  • Actually, his name is Thammarat Duangsiri, and Jack is his nickname.

  • You're playing reminds me hugely of Eric Johnson, but can hence a little Govan out of there too. Dude, you are one of the new rising guitarists and think you should win Guitar Idol.

  • Evidently you have different ears to me.

  • this sing neverdie

  • listened to this song for 2 weeks straight.. left it for a 2 weeks.. now came back to listen to it again....

all i can say is... what a fucking masterpiece.... god bless you

  • i like this version better than the one on the ibanez, more transparent

    REMCO

  • agree

  • the same

  • i like the ibanez one. More mature sound.

  • Jack, thanks for the inspiration! Watching you has made me a better player and artist. Hope you win! And beware of the vultures out there...

  • Kind of lame BJT is trying to cash in on your music. I think you should release the backing track and tab free of charge anyways.

  • Agree 100%!

  • @kronosecw Why does everybody want things for free now? Jack's a professional musician - he has a living to make. Music is a business too...

  • @kirkhetfieldtrujillo The issue is with Blues Jams Tracks. I don't respect their company as they have blatantly stole backing tracks that I've had since before they were a company, and sell them AS IF they own them. This isn't just Jack deciding hey if you want to buy my song i'll sell it from MY website, this is BJT trying to hop on the Jack bandwagon. Also keep in mind, Jack said WHEN the song was written that he would get the backing track out for anyone who wanted to jam it pre-BJT.

  • @kronosecw A lot of the backing tracks were recorded by the founders of BJT before they became BJT, so I think it's only fair that they sell them - give me evidence of them stealing backing tracks and I'll change my mind.

  • @kronosecw Why should he take the time to put together the tablature for mass public consumption? Things like that take time to write out, precisely tab and painstakingly edit until it be me produced officially. It probably took him many hours to precisely write out and input the tablature for his song. If he wants to charge money for his rendering a perfect tablature I think anybody should be happy to pay it. The ability to learn the song is there regardless of the tablature.

  • @superdog797 What you said is correct. If *he* wants to charge for it, so be it. This isn't Jack selling it on HIS website, this is ANOTHER company using him as a marketing tool and selling it. From the beginning he said he'd send the backing/tab to anyone who wanted it BEFORE BJT was even in the picture. Then he won guitar idol, and that never happened. Read my initial post again.

  • Very intelegent playing very musical theres some amazing young talent out there .

  • Finally! the recognition you deserved man! hope you keep climbing to the top!!

  • Love Child of Eric Johnson and Steve Vai ;-) Damn I'm jealous :-)

  • ni ga Chae ko!

  • What kind of pickups are you using?

  • Nice one Jack. See you at LIMS. Great song.

  • Way to go Jack! Really proud of u!

  • That's killer tune Jack

  • OMG....... mad skills man :)

  • Congratulations :D:D So glad for your success :) the song is killer! And I think you are going a long way on the Guitar Idol Competition. Wish you all the best.

    /Patrik

  • bravo!

  • Hey Jack! What pickups in this Squier Classic Vibe 50 do you have?

  • I think it's Fender.

  • its obviously a squier...

  • yes it is

    and it's obviously not stock....

  • its a squire classic vibe

  • ยอดเยี่ยมครับ

  • Muy bien!

  • Awesome ! Love this one !

  • everybody has their influences!

this guy plays really really good, but he don't have an unique voice (like satriani/vai/timmons) YET

  • You mean he plays really really WELL. Agreed :)

  • Sounds like Satriani/Vai/Eric Johnson/John Petrucci all put together.

  • nope, it sounds like Andy Timmons!

  • How about it SOUNDS LIKE JACK THAMMARAT, eh? Nice one, bro!

  • it really sounds like jack..haha

  • tasty :)

  • amazing melody you are excellent and you do not over do it with shredding.
