I know jobs are scarce for most but the hardest demographic hit the most is teens and young adults 20-30s. But teens have the highest unemployment rate at the moment. not good. Hope it gets better for all of us.

I am SOOO inspired by what you are talking about... I might suggest PROFESSIONALISM everything. Think in terms of the company is THERE to make money, so they want customers to keep coming back, so they are probably looking for someone that will treat them professionally. watching the part where you talked about the interview process made me want to throw up. :/ i seriously am TERRIFIED of being asked questions. No lie, I'm just SUPER SHY. In my social studies class, we had this project that was supposed to "train" us for the interview process& such. And as soon as I sat down on the chair in front of him, i burst into tears. :( That's how bad my shyness is. How can I overcome this? I really want a job but don't want to go through the interview!!

@Mrstwilightsagalover I would suggest either a dress with a cardigan, or maybe a button down top with slacks. As for the shoes I would say just flats. Definitely wear something that is formal but not too formal. I wouldn't go too casual. Since you are so young, I would suggest you dress to impress!

@raerae090909 umm you don't really find them for teenagers you kinda have to guess if they would hire young, when you send them an email I would say you are young kind of as a warning. That was what I always did.

YAY for getting a job!! I'm applying for jobs as well. I'm not afraid of working & getting a job & speaking - I'm just super nervous about the interview & going in after applying & checking to see if they got my application. I'm so nervous! ahh - but I'll try to take all this advice in & use it! :-)

Kudos to you!! When I graduated high school in 2008, I went to a college two hours away from home. after two years of partying lol I decided it was best to go to school at home where I could focus, so spring 2010 I entered a 4 term LPN program and graduated March of 2011. I searched high and low and found that no one would hire a new grad nurse because I had no experience, and now I finally found a job!!! I had orientation today and start my on the job training tomorrow!!!

@cupcakeloverism nope they gave it to me, I did have to pay for an 11 dollar food handlers course to get my food handlers card though but it wasn't that much money lol

@cupcakeloverism yeah you get 30 percent discounts on everything, but certain items called "AAA" are discounted at 50 percent i believe, and your whole outfit doesn't have to be but people usually wear mostly hollister

Very nice I love your uniform I'm 26 now I have a steady job as a medical assistant but I started working pretty young too at the age off 16 it was a summer job in an office as a receptionist I learned a lot. The best tip I can give you is concentrate on your job be nice and very important be responsible ;) good luck..... By the way are u done with accutane I have one month left...
