hey that's the SVTiX data center in downtown san jose, must be old video since colo2 is totally empty. Probably fake, I haven't seen anything that shows it once had the sort of damage a UPS going up would do, but I haven't been through the whole building either.
@graudrakon also not sure why the lights would flicker fake or not. If batteries went they should just be off, but the switch to turn them on is a dial timer kinda hard to turn on and off really fast like that.
funny how the "background noise" is in way better quality than all the other noise, wich sounds a lot more like the quality it should have, compared to the picture quality...
why are my comments bed and nod empire scrrew off please ok i am a good person and i unblocked you but why did the lights flash they do not run off of the ups.
Large UPSes use lead-acid type batteries. Unlike lithium-ion or other types of batteries the chance of lead-acid batteries bursting into flames is fairly slim. The worst that could happen is an explosion from hydrogen released by the batteries as they are charged.
But even then, it takes a spark to ignite the hydrogen, and there has to be enough of it. The ventilation system in datacenters is enough that it would be impossible for enough hydrogen to build up to be explosive.
So, yes, everything about this video, even the idea, is fake.
how do you know it's fake? Do you know exactly what state or city it was in? And btw, Everytime UPS batteries blow out, the news are not going to treat it like Al Qaeda in the white house.

Just a mobile phone battery would blow a hole in a sheet of 1mm steal. The UPS batteries would probbly take out a wall

Are your claims based on facts, or is it just your imagination? If it is factual - any documented reference to this?
