I do this look as a reverse - I have a target (try h&m or something) a satin v neck top (slouchy) with a soft leopard print cotton cardi. I call it my 'mummy pimp' look. I also have a beauuuuutiful fox (which is a pest here so...) black fur scarf which - topped with jeans and a neutral mid heel shoe (grey shoes are also great, put some lambswool inserts in your heels - it makes them a little like your slippers) x

You could try jeggins? They are a mixture of leggins and jeans (as you probably figured out by the word "jeggings". Good job me for pointing out the obvious lol). You don't know how glad I am to know that there are other people out there with the same clothes issues as me. Why don't any designers make clothes for people who are bigger but don't have a huge butt?! The only jeans I've been able to find that fit alright are skinny jeans since they're designed to be tight so they aren't baggy in my legs and butt. Before I found these jeans I just wore tighter jeans that fit the legs and loose shirts. I should try wearing leggings more often I guess.

@customanimalart i'm in the UK so we can't get victoria's secret here, but yeah there's a US topshop website. i think the prices are dead reasonable for what you get and the sizes run true :) && yeah, i'm a 34-36 leg, being 6'1" as a girl is pretty damned annoying :) just fyi, if you're buying from topshop, the 'jamie' style jeans have a lot of elastine in them, so i'd go one size smaller on the waist because they stretch out pretty quickly.

@andari02 a more delicate style that hangs lower, mid chest to cleavage is best, avoid chunky styles that sit high on the chest and neck area. if you want a chunky style (like the tribal thing thats been going on this summer) go for a longer one and an open neckline to balance you out. at least that's what i've found :)
