I bought a Neuton 6.2 last spring and I LOVE it!. It is quiet, efficient, dependable and does a great job on my lawn. I did research on this for four months and the Neuton is by far the best cordless electric on the market. Don't listen to the naysayers on here who haven't tried this machine. I don't work for Neuton - I hadn't heard about them until I saw an ad in the Farmers Almanac. This is a wondeful machine and I highly recommend it.
This mower is crap, made in Tawian. This is the ower of Neuton mower and he refuses to make the mower in American but outsources crap labor in Tawian and sells these crappy mowers in the United States.
If you want American made, buy a Craftsmen cordless or Black & Decker or Remington, all are American made and better.
This is excellent for the home. Very clean, excellent for the environment. It starts up very easy, like a push start button in a car. Manufacturers from now on should produce many battery powered lawn mowers for the public. Gardening and landscaping businesses can opt for the commercial electric and bio fuel lawn mower. OMG! The future is going to be great!!!!!
must be made in china, i'll pass i got a lawn mower than has less emissions than these electric, yes they don't pollute, BUT putting load into the power plant means more emissions in the fresh air from nuclear power plant facilities, my mower runs on propane, and runs better, cuts more than these electric.... sorry to be mean, but, i would not even own one, even if they are the last mower on earth, i will NEVER own one electric or cordless mower :P
Actually, I am pretty sure it is a Vermont company. Nuclear energy is also cleaner energy. I used the mower for the first time today, and was really happy with the results. Very easy to use. Gas ones I've managed to choke up and it kicks the mower out.
full of shit, my mower runs on propane, and have less emissions , and them battery mowers will not last on my yards, and i am not interested in waiting on the battery to get fully charge after 4 hours, so ill pass
I've had a Neuton Mower for 2 years. Never had a problem with it. In fact, I LOVE it! Super quiet and very easy to start and push. I'm thinking seriously of getting the larger model next year and giving the one I have to my parents.
I disgree, I don't the Neuton mower. You need to buy a $100.00 in 3 years. That's more than gas cost if you don't mow much and is bad for the evironment to make more batteries, when you should go electric than Neuton. It is noisy and almost 99% plastic. It is cheaply made and not made in USA either
I bought a Neuton mower too, I was not impressed with at all. It cuts terrible, battery doesn't last more than 45 minutes and it is made in Taiwan. I then shopped and decided to find USA made cordless mowers where I found the Remington model. It blew the doors off the Neuton completely, also so did Craftsman and Black & Decker did too.

Batery taking 8 hours to charge is terrible. They have fast charge batteries in 15 minutes.
Love this mower but 1 hour only of use? should be 3 hours...

Maybe you should get your facts straight.
It is NOT MADE IN TAWIAN. Some of the parts are made there. And, that guys is not the "owner of neuton mower" as you claim.

Not a fan of Rotary lawnmowers anyway, I have an old Atco Petrol Cylinder mower which does the job much better.
