Hi...nice work. I'm wondering, doesn't the weight of the water affect the outcome of the measurement? Surely without weight and pressurethe result would read higher? Happy Hydrogen! Mike/WaterThrottle
im getting 1 liter per min with my 3 cell system at 8 amps and 12 volts.its only 1 foot high and 2 inches in diameter. i run straight water also. your getting close but still have some work to do. nice videos
By adding solar panels to the roof of the car you would be able to supplement the alternator, problem solved if most of the driving is done during the day.
Yeah but a high percentage of energy is not used with the alternator so use it if its going to waste anyways. you guys are not understanding the workings of an alternator, you not using more energy you using waht would be WASTE energy so your actually utilizing what the alternator does!
nice design! and i think you should add more membranes to produce more bubbles make 1/8 apart and drop a pinch of salt to produce more bubbles. you can put hot water too to easily create evaporation process. good job! :P goodluck! and one more thing! REMOVE THE TAPE!
So with 250 ml/min at 12V / 15 amps, this results in 18% efficiency of the cell. (1936 Joules of H2 gas produced & 10800 Joules electrical energy consumed pr. min).
OK, but remember that you in this setup are "only" getting 20% of the energy consumed back as usable hydrogen energy. This means that the engine efficiency must increase considerably to get better milage with such setup. I'm afraid it's too low, but try and see.
You don't understand. The engine has to work even harder to make that hydrogen. If the alternator has a drain on it. The drain will cause the engine to work harder. That is why if you have your head lights on all day it kills your mileage.
You said you get more gas production with the tape around the cell but have you checked your volts and amps both ways to see witch way uses less power??
My guess is the cell when taped also uses less amps. But am not sure.
this proyect remove the gasoline use?

Do not use salt, it gives off toxic gas. Use either NaOH or KOH with distilled water, no baking soda. Do you have any neutral plates?

Awsome construction, 5 stars for that alone.

Well I look at it this way ...
I have to drive the car to get to work get groceries blah blah ...
So .. if its runing anyway the Alternator is making juice chargeing the battery and making me hydrogen and saving me money and gas ...
I wouldnt care if it was 1% efficient!
