@corey, I'm not saying Tom Petty is unremarkable. The man is almost the incarnate of success. All I am saying is that I truly think that Josh Ritter has more talent for song writing than Tom Petty had. I also hold no delusions that Ritter will become anywhere near as popular as Petty but that is more of a function of society and the tools of circulation.

Short version, Tom Petty is really good, I like Josh Ritter more.

No I got to be honest, josh ritter is better than Tom Petty, you can't just say TP is good cause he's TP, Josh Ritter is one of the best (with that said TP is very good)
