Can someone please tell me how to configure this with Virtual DJ 7 Pro? Not all of the functions work right. For example, the crossfader doesnt crossfade. And pitch b doesnt control the pitch, its just a scrolling function
When I turn the filter or the phaser on the right side it somehow moves the crossfader in the torq program, but the left side works fine but now i have to control the right side with the mouse? Can somebody help me what to do? when i started everything worked well.
This might be a good match to go with my APC40 for Traktor pro. I could use some more knobs. it's super cheap and looks very portable. Just curious as to how durable it is, is it built solid?
@ghastly89 It's not as well built as your average metal DJ mixer, but it is better built than a UC33e, or BCR in my opinion. Actually, overall I'm of the opinion that the XSP is one of the most underrated MIDI controllers out there. I picked one up recently for 35 euro used, and I've been having lots of fun with it. It's very inspiring to use with Ableton Live. I love it!
@vlajster How hard is it to understand - the X-Session is a generic MIDI controller. It is good for some tasks, not good for others. No sound flows through it. For DJ'ing with Ableton Live on my Macbook, it is a very light, portable, affordable solution.
Bought this mixer for $20 on craigslist! Awesome mixer...just can't figure out how to program the pitches to effects and how to manipulate the headset buttons to a peek-a-boo style. Anyone??? I'm using Virtual DJ on a Gemini Ctrl One.
For the DJ turntablist, this X-session pro mixer is really good to use with the Torq Conectiv to scratch the mp3 tracks in the Torq software (LE, 1.5, or 2.0 version). The combination of these two is great! (or just go with the Xponent device.)
WELL I HEARD A LOT OF COMMENTS OF PEOPLE THAT SAY THIS MIXER IS NOT VERY FINE AND USE TO BE DAMAGED EASILY IS THIS TRUE? OF WHAT MATERIAL IS MADE THIS MIXER PLASTIC METAL
@DRGDJ well i have been using it for 2 years and its still working fine! it's made of plastic (hard one) and it is not heavy, i don't think you like to throw your mixer like "hey dude catch this" and things like that. lol
I swear this guy must be related to Mike Mangini

@mudithead Yeah that's correct, this is just a midi controller. It just controls your DAW or DJ program, there are no inputs or outputs
