@TheBopop I'm just really an import guy at heart. I have a Pontiac Grand Prix GT. It's an awesome car, but I have lost faith in the domestic cars. It doesn't seem like anyone really cares to make long lasting, fun, customizable cars here in America (with the exception on Chevy and the Cobalt) Not everyone can afford Vettes, Camaros, and Stangs. I have alot of love for the muscles, but I'd just in a Civic Mugen RR/Integra GSR/350Z/Acura RSX Type S anyday. But i'll check out you're Mustang.
@koalatoday You say you cant afford camaros or stangs, then you mention 10k+imports. You can buy an early 90's lt1 for 3k and make 400whp with heads and a cam. Or and ls1 z28 for 6k and they can make 380whp with basic bolt ons. A properly set up bolt on ls1 has gone 10.60's. Thats plenty to wax about 95% of the hondas out there and about 99% of the hondas on the street.
@nallen100 Last I checked, 06 - 11 even 05 American muscles charge upwards of 20,000 - 35,000 used. You can get all the cars I've mentioned (with the exception of the Civic RR) for $8,000 - $17,000 used. Not that imports have a low resale value, but people think that because its a Camaro or Stang, then its worth that much. I guess I did a bad job at making my point. I wouldn't purchase a domestic over an Import.
@koalatoday my cobra cost me 7k with 69k miles on it. It chews up s197 stangs and new edge stangs. Still though, you buy your domestic for 8k-17k then spend anohter 10k in upgrades to just keep up with the "muscle" cars.

I'll get a Chevy Trailblazer in a year or two, but when it comes to street racing, I'm just not willing to go domestic. What I'm doing now is getting an EK Civic Hatch 3k, Swap it with a K20 that i'll probably build myself for around 2k, a turbo kit around $500 and just have my fun until this car gives out on me when in around +10 years. : )
@koalatoday First of all where are you getting a k20 for 2k? They go for 5-6k on average. Plus you cant buy a turbo for $500, how the hell you think you can get a whole kit for 500? A decent turbo is going to run at least $1200. $400 for a fmic kit. $500 for a turbo back exhaust. Another couple hundred for gaskets, lines, boost controller, 400 for a type r ecu, 300 for hondata or whatever tuner you go with. Talking about atleast $3k to turbo a n/t car.
@koalatoday Then you have the entire fuel system still. Then after all that your still fwd, so you have all the mods required to make a fwd hook, slicks, lsd front diff, heavy clutch, etc etc.

@TheBopop I'm just really an import guy at heart. I have a Pontiac Grand Prix GT. It's an awesome car, but I have lost faith in the domestic cars. It doesn't seem like anyone really cares to make long lasting, fun, customizable cars here in America (with the exception on Chevy and the Cobalt) Not everyone can afford Vettes, Camaros, and Stangs. I have alot of love for the muscles, but I'd just in a Civic Mugen RR/Integra GSR/350Z/Acura RSX Type S anyday. But i'll check out you're Mustang.

@koalatoday You say you cant afford camaros or stangs, then you mention 10k+imports. You can buy an early 90's lt1 for 3k and make 400whp with heads and a cam. Or and ls1 z28 for 6k and they can make 380whp with basic bolt ons. A properly set up bolt on ls1 has gone 10.60's. Thats plenty to wax about 95% of the hondas out there and about 99% of the hondas on the street.

@nallen100 Last I checked, 06 - 11 even 05 American muscles charge upwards of 20,000 - 35,000 used. You can get all the cars I've mentioned (with the exception of the Civic RR) for $8,000 - $17,000 used. Not that imports have a low resale value, but people think that because its a Camaro or Stang, then its worth that much. I guess I did a bad job at making my point. I wouldn't purchase a domestic over an Import.

@TheBopop I wasn't meaning to offend anyone. I grew up with Fords, Mercury, Plymouth, Pontiacs. But I'm just for the Imports. I'll get a Chevy Trailblazer in a year or two, but when it comes to street racing, I'm just not willing to go domestic. What I'm doing now is getting an EK Civic Hatch 3k, Swap it with a K20 that i'll probably build myself for around 2k, a turbo kit around $500 and just have my fun until this car gives out on me when in around +10 years. : )

@koalatoday First of all where are you getting a k20 for 2k? They go for 5-6k on average. Plus you cant buy a turbo for $500, how the hell you think you can get a whole kit for 500? A decent turbo is going to run at least $1200. $400 for a fmic kit. $500 for a turbo back exhaust. Another couple hundred for gaskets, lines, boost controller, 400 for a type r ecu, 300 for hondata or whatever tuner you go with. Talking about atleast $3k to turbo a n/t car.

And fyi thats not a very big turbo. $400 for a turbo mani, 400 for a fmic, 500 for turbo back exhaust, 350 for bov and intake pipe, 150 for gaskets and hardware, 100 for feed lines.

Both are absolutely required for a boosted app. Figure another easy 2k+ right there. Thats 5100 for a small turbo set up. And dont come with that used prices shit. LOL its a 90s v6 so the honda barely beat a single port(1994-1998) v6 mustang with 150 hp. 1999-2004 were splitport v6 mustang with 193 hp. I have a nice built 2001 v6 stang(still nothing special) that would destroy this honda. This honda looks to be bone stock judging by the fact it didn't win by much.
