@Rosalindxxxxxx I really like Chris Hardwick on Nerdist and Craig Ferguson because he's just super nerdy and it's cute when he geeks out. But here he's sorta taking over the entire conversation which can be annoying. Maybe part of it is because the cast isn't as geeky as him and the audience so he's trying to bridge the difference? (like the whole Tardis thing, I think he handled that pretty well)

@later6 I think that's because Jim is talking to the microphone closer to Mayim. Physical closeness doesn't equal chemistry O.o
If you see the fan cams you can see they said things to each other when we see just these CBS videos focusing solely on the people talking. So yes, you would be the only one. Many people still want them together (not romantically though, idk) even though the writers have pulled them apart in the sitcom also.
@iRockYouRock67 Haha yeah that's true. I tend to put those factors out of question when I'm focused on another. I guess it just seems, to me, that they "seem" alike (Jim and Mayim) and I also factored in how they are on the show knowing that that had nothing to do with their real personality.
I think people just want Sheldon to be in any "romantic" realtionship now. More of a shock would be with Penny, rather than Amy.
@later6 I think it would be a shock with either of them. People fall under the pretense that Sheldon is some sort of robot, when he is more pron to emotion than them all put together, but who knows :P And yes! They do want him to be sexual being. But I don't think the writers want to take that route. I think people wanted Sheldon to be sexual, and the writers refused to so they came up with Amy character, a female Sheldon, vessel of people's desires to have someone like that be a sexual being.
@iRockYouRock67 It would definitely be a BIG change if they were to put Shelly in that position. He's probably the one to keep it all bottled up and then just sets off like seen in some episodes. One's opinion on Sheldon becoming sexual definitely depends on the way you love him. I frankly enjoy seeing him evolve into an emotional person that shows it, so a relationship of that level would be a hope. If you love him the way he is, focused on science, then maybe no relationship.
@later6 Well there is a difference between emotional and sexual, I definitely think he is the first one already. He just doesn't have the common sense to represent it the way "normal humans" do. He over thinks things that we take for granted. Most of the people that want to be sexually active are shippers, but the online fandom (thank god mostly the ones in the panel) are a minority. Most people don't care really, they just tune in once a week and that's it.

It would really take away all that is Sheldon if they put him a sexual relationship and it would be a really, really large step for him to even participate. It's funny how sexaul components in a sitcom or a movie or a book are pretty much something expected. Nothing out of this world to consider as something that "should happen" because...it happens.
