To the contrary. It shows the berner can play within acceptable parameters while being gentle. This berner is mouthing, not biting. Berner mouthing shows affection. If there was a squeeky toy involved you would see biting and quickly note the distinctions in the behavior.
Passive & sweet. Yes! But that doesn't mean no playtime. I see a passive & sweet dog playing. As long as she respects her owners when playtime is over, this is a great dog with great owners.

we have a berrner and she is 6 months old and acts just like this and i am glad to know that she isnt the only one that gets hyper lol
